Something unique and refreshing for today, April 23, 2008
I have been working in the music industry for 20 years now so I hope my opinion on music has some meaning. I have to say what got me into this CD is the song "House of Cards". I heard it a lot on Showtime and had to have the song. That was the only song I knew which is a rock ballad. It is beautiful! They are original and unique. The things I like about these guys are they do not sound the same with their songs and I can not compare them to anyone else, which cannot be said for other artist out there today. I got their CD last night and cannot stop listening to it. Mind you I only had their one single and thought the album might be like that but was pleasantly surprised at how versatile it was. I am a rhythm/bass freak and this CD has it! It has the beautiful ballads, rock songs, but yet they can also get bluesy. I am very impressed with the CD and all the songs. I don't get into a lot of today's music but this CD is a rare one. Give the samples a listen and I am sure you will agree. It is a great CD well worth the money.
