Sid is a very polarizing figure, but he does have the most entertaining and informative sports talk show in South Florida. I enjoyed this book. It`s an easy read and well worth your money.

Grew up outside of Philly listening to Howard Stern on the radio while a young teenager. It was definitely an influential time in my life listening to the many shenanigans of one of the most famous Shock Jocks around! Then came Sid ... in my early 30s. Discovered "The Drive with Scott (Kaplan) & Sid (Rosenberg)" on a local radio station, Sports Radio 810 WHB, in Kansas City in 1999/2000. Rode the wave and enjoyed Sid's stories & experiences on the radio so reading his book was a nice trip down memory lane! Lost track of Sid when he ventured off to the Big Apple for bigger and brighter lights ... he definitely made it to the big time! His book absolutely filled in the blanks! The book does jump around from topic to topic so don't look to necessarily follow Sid's life chronologically. However, he brings everything full circle in the end! If you enjoy Sid's humor (you don't have to condone it), then the book is a fun read!!! Its also a good inside perspective of an individual who faces addictions in life (ie: substance abuse & gambling). Battling addictions never ends and its a day-to-day struggle sometimes. I believe if I had been Sid's probation officer early on, a little shock time for him in the clink might have scared him straight or at least taught him how to wear soap on a rope! Since the book came out in 2010, Sid has further developed his career in the South Florida radio market ... he also has to face his demons everyday! Wish nothing, but the best for Sid and hope Kansas City gets another chance to listen to his antics again on the airwaves! The book won't disappoint you, but he may have to follow it up with a sequel to continue the madness (Sid Redux)! TCB -Nilram

I knew very little about Sid prior to my reading. Just heard he was a sports shock jock and that we had similar personalities. As a result I learned much about Sid and the radio personalities he has worked with over the years. I enjoyed his candor and can appreciate his desire to make people laugh. Whether it comes from insecurity or somewhere else makes no difference. He is not out to hurt anyone and firmly believes in the adage-- Live long laugh hard -- as do I.

Birds eye view of an amazing person, life and career who rose from the bottom to the top, fell to the bottom and working his way back everyday! If you know or listen to Sid, you know this book is full of honest amazing stories and full of regards from all his sports and entertainment friends! Continued success Sid and look forward to book #2
