My first listen was on an iPod, my second-tenth on an excellent car stereo. Do yourself a favor and pump this album out loud. The production screams for speakers.

i cant even fathom how many great songs are on this CD... "ruby" of course is great "thank you very much" is extremely catchy. i cant get the "angry mob" song out of my head.. and the rest of the songs.. i cant stop listening to. this release is just as good as their 2005 album "employment". i dont think they can do any wrong. and the funny thing is.. no one in the U.S. knows who they are.. and i think thats a crime. too bad its not listed as a capital punishment. :/ these guys are one of my favorite bands and always will be. the lyrics are fun.. the vocals are clear.. and they dont sing about the same garbage over and over again. whats not to like?

I've had this album for over a month now, and it's still my most listened to album today. In fact, I'm jammin to Thank You Very Much as I write this. Yours Truly, Angry Mob is Kaiser Chiefs on top form, and manages to be even tighter than Employment. There is not a single song I skip over when listening to it, and some of the tracks later on in the album have emerged as my favourites, especially Learnt My Lesson Well and Retirement.

What is there to say about the first single Ruby that hasn't already been said? It certainly is pure catchy pop brilliance, without being in any way annoying. Excellent.
I'm not an expert on special edition bonus DVDs, but I can say the section Tim's Short Film had me in absolute stitches, and the live videos had me jumping.
Bottom line: If you're a fan of unpretentious guitar pop/rock, this will not disappoint.

Second albums are always dodgy, but in this case the Leeds lads have done well. Ruby is destined to be a classic.

I took a risk and bought this album because of the song "Ruby". The entire album turned out to be very good, and I'm quite happy with it. Good catchy songs throughout. Do many people today buy entire albums, instead of just downloading one or two songs from a band? Probably not, and it's a shame. I recommend the album.

Don't know exactly what it is about these guys, but I can't stop listening to this recording! I really really liked their first record, but I really really REALLY like this one. The songs are infectious and make their previous effort seem even more psychic: I PREDICT A RIOT! Indeed, a stampede...on the way to the record store to pick up this baby!

Along with the waves of Fanz Ferdinand and the Arctic Monkeys from previous years I would place these guys as 2007's British invasion. Songs are horribly catchy though not at all cheaply written as is with most pop music these days unfourtunatly. Definitely an album you can play throughout without keeping your finger on the track skip button. Great Album!!!!

...Buzzcock wannabes. Not a terrible record. Listenable but definitely not original. Why the heck does the drummer have to sing everything the singer sings when they play live?? Dude needs to relax.

Una seconda prova migliore senza dubbio, più continua e matura, della prima.

Solid CD from this UK band, but Ruby Ruby, the first single, is still my favorite.
