I dont think Earl Thomas Conley ever did a bad song. My favorite cd by is Treadin' Water. This is tied for second place with all his other cds. This was the last cd he recorded before he had vocal surgery and when he came back radio never really gave him another chance. This guy had number one songs after another and wasn't given a fair shake. This is a good cd. It has the hits Brotherly Love which is a duet with Keith Whitley. Moe Bandy had recorded that earlier. And a song that Tom Wopat co wrote Shadow Of A Doubt. It opens with You Got Me Now which is a good love song. That I think could have been a hit. It has a working man's type song Hard Days And Honky Tonk Nights that I think could also have been a hit. All the songs are good. And it ends with another song that I think is a highlight. I Wanna Be Loved Back which was written by Earl and Randy Scruggs and Randy put it on one of his cds and had Trisha Yearwood singing backup on it. Just a all around good cd.

Every ETC fan should have this CD, if only for the You Got Me Now track. Not a bad one in the bunch. Love it. Would give it 10 stars if I could.
