I've been coaching youth baseball for three years and my son has just advanced to the level where the kids are pitching. Never having pitched myself, I didn't know the first thing about it. I bought this video just based on the synopsis and it was well worth it. The pitching process is broken down into small steps that will be easy to teach to my son and his teammates. There are several simple drills that isolate the different parts of the pitching process and these can be done anywhere, even indoors at home. Since my son is excited about pitching, but we don't always have time every day to go outside and throw the ball, I will be able to help him learn how to pitch even at night.

I recently received this video and find that the content is really based for a child just entering a pitching league. It will show you some of the real basics about the approach to pitching and some of the basic drills that are repeated in just about every video and/or book I have seen. I found the video on Pitching mechanics by Tom House more helpful with some real problems shown and solutions addressed.

This video is the perfect tool for those of us who have to coach, but have never played the game. It does a great job of breaking down the fundamentals and demonstrating them in a way that is easy for both coaches and players to understand. It was a lifesaver in helping me teach my players and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
