I have had this resource for months and I am just getting around to reading it. What a shame for me, my eyes were opened. The research findings from the National Study of Youth and Religion are informative. This book helped me better understand teenagers in today's world. The first section of each chapter goes through a topic and the research finding and the 2nd section of each chapter has "Ministry Tools," these are tons of ideas and practical ways to put the topic into action. The ideas range from simple, (not much prep) to more organized functions. It will give you the tools to inspire your teens to have a life-transformation relationship with Jesus. If you are involved in youth in anyway, this book would be an effective tool for your ministry

This book is a great tool for any youth minister who is just getting started. I am currently pursuing my Masters at New Orleans Baptist Seminary, and this book comes highly recommended by every youth ministry professor here, and is highly esteemed by the students who are using it!
