Background stories, secrets, and a whole lotta teamwork!!,

First off, if you haven't purchased the previous copies, I suggest you purchase "Yozakura Quartet Volume 1" before venturing into this book.
Otherwise, in this installment of Yozakura Quartet, the team has to prove itself worthy of protecting Sakurashin Town as a rivaling politician hires demonic mercenaries to eradicate the competition! Hime and the gang must stop this corrupt candidate from succeeding in his plans!! But do they even stand a chance? You'll have to find out for yourself!! This volume fleshes out more back story, particularly Hime's, Akina's, and Kyosuke's back stories. You'll also find out why Hime wears that snazzy scarf! It's good to find out how things came about before they were all protectors of the city. Akina is definitely one of my favorite characters, although Kotoha really shines in this volume, as she conjures up one of her bigger creations in an epic battle! This entire volume is practically one big action sequence, and the chemistry between the characters is excellent! Also, Suzuhito Yasuda's efforts to create a team-based environment is particularly refreshing and well balanced. If you've been purchasing the previous volumes, you can go ahead and buy this and satiate your thirst for knowledge my friends! |
