Something like 4000 yen overseas, it's impossible to get Nihon Falcom albums. And now, Amazon offers them?! Sweet, this rocks!

This is just a fantastic album, one of the best from the Ys series. If you found yourself listening to Ys Origin's music and thought it was lacking a little something, this will satisfy your needs. What was maybe an 7 or 8 out of 10 from Origin's OST has been pumped up to 11 on here.

The power metal tracks are, of course, fantastic, but I love how they also arranged other tracks like Oboro, where there's more of a soft jazz feel to it. Track 9, Shihou no Samayoi, is surprisingly enjoyable; turning a music track into a full on song doesn't always work out, but in this case I think it turned out nicely.
Over Drive is clearly one of the stronger tracks on the album, but Silent Desert is also great with really powerful chords.
Really, the weakest track here is Believing; it's nice enough, but it drags on far too long.

If you're an Ys fan, I would say this is required for your music library. JDK outdid themselves with this Super Arrange, and it shows.

I LOVE this album and this game! Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys anime OST, Video Game Music, or good ol' classic power metal. My only gripe is I wish it was longer! Favorite track is Silent Desert, least favorite is My Lord, Our Brave.

Thank you Falcom for releasing this on Amazon US
