Years ago I had this book and others by J.T. Edson, but they were destroyed in a house fire. I got away from westerns for a long time and went to fantasy novels. Now I wanted a break from my current reading, and the first westerns that came to mind were novels by Edson. This was the first book I had read in the Floating Outfit Series and I wanted to start there again. To me it was enjoyable to read again and I'm now trying to get the rest of the novels by J.T. Edson.
