Mature Shinohara,
By
This review is from: Yu-Fever 2005 (Audio CD)
This CD is definitely worth the 20 bucks. There are only 3 songs, but that is par for the course with Japanese Music, and the quality of these songs is top notch.
All of the songs have a great beat and are fun to listen to (a trademark of Shinohara). Yuu-FEVER is the first track. It was used as the ending theme of Zatch Bell (Konjiki No Gash Bell). It is the perkiest cut from this album and the most like Shinohara's previous work. Next is Oyatsu, another very perky number. It is almost as fun as Yuu-FEVER, but not quite. Still, classic Shinohara. The last track is Stereo Phonics, the most mature song I've ever heard from Shinohara. Imagine crossing classic Shinohara with Donna Summer, and you have a selection that surpasses Summer and opens new ground for Shinohara. An excellent selection.
