4.0 out of 5 stars Very tight!, July 3, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh!: Championship Collection Three Volume Set (DVD)
O.K. for that very long person's review about Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon being just a con to buy card products and such... you're wrong. I mean sure the shows did stray very close to those lines, but all they did was create a game that kids (and maybe adults) could enjoy too! We can choose what we spend our money on, thanks!! Pokemon really does it more than Yu-Gi-Oh b/c Yu-Gi-Oh is based on a card game so it's only natural to make the original card game for it. Pokemon sort of... pushed its way along. Yu-Gi-Oh has a meaning to it unlike Pokemon who is based on a kid who goes on an oh so very endless journey to tries to become a Pokemon master. And you call us stupid and unreasonable in the South!!!!! Anyways this three DVD boxset has the episodes containing Yugi's and Joey's duel (which i personally enjoy) and then the last two DVDs round off with Yugi's and Pegasus's duel. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because that last duel of Yugi's gets tiresome and my attention span cannot take it!!!!! !-!

3.0 out of 5 stars O.K DVDS, February 16, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh!: Championship Collection Three Volume Set (DVD)
Even though it doesnt have volume 10 its a o.k box set. It contains 3 DVDS or 10 eposodes.Plus the DVDS have a bunch of extras like Dulist Bios Music Videos and more.It starts out as Joey vs. Bandit Kieth but Kieth has a unstoppabul Machine deck.
Joey must use his traps along with metalizing his Red Eyes to win. Then Yugi vs. Joey as Joey pulls of a stratagy to summon Black Skull Dragon 3200.Will Yugi win? Also in volume 12 and 13 its the match youve been waiting for Yugi vs. Peguses. Will Yugi win and save his Grandpa and the Kaiba brothers.Dont get this box set because I heard there is going to be a Yugioh season 1 box set with 16 volumes. So and stead of getting 3 get the whole 16.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh!: Championship Collection Three Volume Set (DVD)
First thing that I have said is that it sickens me that 4kids sold this thing with a MSRP of $50 that is $5 per episode were now of about $10-15 is about $1 to $1.50 an episode a way better deal. Now on to the stuff it comes with 2 mini CDs with a total of half the songs on that yugioh music to duel by album but enstead of putting the best song like your move and i'm back they put the worst songs on them but the face-up face-down song is the only good one and all the songs would be bad if it were not for the connection with yugioh. The episodes are great with joey v keith, yugi v joey, and yugi v maximillion especialy if you're buying them now and you didn't back in 2003 for the full overprice.
