The Jaden Yuki Starter Deck and Syrus Truesdale Starter Deck aren't the best decks to combined together seeing as they both rely on heavily different themes. Though, for new and old duelists alike they will provide a great entry point for both of those type of themes.
The Jaden Yuki deck provides the ever popular 'Elemental' Hero cards... and of course other friends. Sadly, you will not find any fusion cards in his deck that combine the Elemental Heroes you get in this starter deck. That also means no Polymerization. However, on the brighter side of things. The highlights of the deck (other than the elemental heroes) are the trap cards it provides. You'll find yourself a magical cylinder, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Sakuretsu armor, and Draining Shield. It also includes a few powerful magic cards: Lightning Vortex, Brain Control, Heavy Storm, and R - Righteous Justice. The featured card on the cover is elemental Hero Necroshade. Fair warning, the cards that you will get provided to you through this will not be enough for a Vehicroid deck to be successful. You'll need to probably get 2-3 of each of the imporant 'Roid' cards to get in the right direction. The hightlights of the Syrus Truesdale deck include: Expressroid, Drilloid, Brain Control, Lightning Vortex, Book of Moon, Giant Trunade, Magical Cylinder, and Negate Attack.
