This is a pretty cool game that gives kids another way to get in to the Yugioh world. The game itself is pretty fun, but the best thing is the educational element. The rules have two levels of play. At the most basic level, it will teach number recognition. At the upper level it uses a lot of addition. Kids can actually have fun doing math!

This is a really simple game to learn, it takes about two minutes to learn it before playing. It comes with enough pieces for two players, and the 'boosters' are really cheap as well.

This game is good for teaching math to young children, and makes for a good thinking puzzle. Even as an adult, I find this game fun and a good time-killer.

Hey i know yugioh card game is better than this but this is just about as fun as the game. And plus, you can wear these hexors!!!!!!I am 11 and it is so fun. i would consider buying these very cool hexors...!!!!

Well I like the cards better and I'm pretty sure everyone else would think so. Kind of confusing at first. I haven't used them yet.This is mostly all you need to know about it. I bought to see what they were like cause I have the cards and love the show. I'm not too crazy about them but hey, why don't you give em a go? They're cool and I primise you'll enjoy them. I know I do, even if they're not actually the game of Duel Monsters.

Before hand, I feel it needs to be said that Yu-Gi-Oh is not satanic, nor does it teach anything of witch craft. True, it speaks of things such as magic, but it does not use any terms related to witchcraft. It speaks of magical items. I fail to see how that could be harmful to any child. It feeds their imaginations, which is needed in these times. This game, as well as any other Yu-Gi-Oh games, are fun, and teach a child to think hard before making any moves.

In this game I think that this game was tareted towards pre-adults and or adults. If getting into this game it would be good to get protecters, then your cards will not get damaged. to me this game is fun and great. it is also fun to trade with others and get stronger cards.

Yu Gi Oh is perfectly fine there is no black magic at all. All it is is good Vs. evil and a boy just playing a game trying to save his granpa. If you dont like black magic keep your kids from away Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Wisard Of Oz.

well for 1 yu-gi-oh DOES NOT I reapeat DOES NOT teach"santanism" and so called "black magic" it is based on a child trying to save his grandfather from a evil duelist called pegasus,who has a item called a millenium eye,which gives him evil magial powers.yugi also posses a item called the milleinuim puzzle that is good not evil.so it's basicly good against evil.and now to the toy i bought it 4 my son and he really enjoyed it,but said he would rather play the tcg

The game pieces are METAL (yea!) with an engraved millenium puzzle on the back. Each piece has 6 sides, each with a color and a number. You start with your token (the starter comes with Yugi and Kiaba), and your monsters (the starter comes with 8). Each player moves your monsters trying to caputre your opponents character piece. When the monsters meet in the field, they "battle" by rolling the colored die and matching that color to a number on the token. The higher number wins. Not very challenging, but does not require any reading (maybe good for younger kids). The playmat is just made of paper.
Overall the game is dull, but the tokens are neat for older kids (they have a hole in them for attaching to book bags etc).

PARENTS PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE watch this show with your kids before purchasing these or any other items related to Yu-Gi-Oh. I was shocked to discover just exactly what this show was when I watched it with my children. It is NOT a harmless copy of Pokemon. The characters and settings of this cartoon strongly resemble satainistic and black magic icons. I am not a strongly religious person, but I can not and will not allow this in my house.
Please parents, before you buy these for your kids watch this show to decide whether or not you feel it is right for your children.
