It is worth the 40 dollars in value? Yes!
Is it a good product? Yes! The Box ~~~~~~~~~ Holds you cards.... Worth 1 dollar The Promos ~~~~~~~~~~ Exodia The Forbidden One- This is a promo from the master collection which sells for $25. When this card is in your hand along with the arms and legs of Exodia, you automatically win the duel. Dark Necrofear- It is a promo from the master collection being sold for $5. This is easy to Special Summon, has good stats (ATK-2200/DEF-2800), and when it is destroyed, you can take control of an opponent's monster. Relinquished- This is a card that can absorb the opponent's monster, use it as a sheild, and make opponent take all battle damage. This is being sold for $5. Thousand Eyes Restrict- This card can absorb an opponent's monster and paralyze the opponents other monsters. This is being sold for $5. Barrel Dragon- This monster has a strong ATK of 2600 and can destroy monsters as a 50/50 chance of coin flips each turn. This is being sold for $8. Dark Ruler Ha Des- This card is being sold for $7 dollars. This card has 2450 ATK which is very strong for its level and can negate the effects of the victims he kills. The Packs ~~~~~~~~~~ The value for them is $4 a piece Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon- This pack has the basic staples all decks use like Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, Raigeki, Swords of Revealing Light, and more. It has strong monsters too. Since this is discontinued the longest, it is worth $$$. Metal Raiders- This has cards that counter certain types of cards, flip effects, direct damage cards, staples like Change of Heart or Witch of the Black Forest, Attribute deck support cards, and strong monsters like Summoned Skull. Magic Ruler- This set has ritual cards, hand control cards, ingenius equip cards, and great magic cards. There are more searchers in this set. Do not forget about the toons. Pharoah's Servant- This set has the best trap cards like Ceasefire which inflicts serious damage and Imperial Order which negates magic cards until you wish to rid of this. This has warrior deck supporting monsters and the overly used Jinzo! Labyrinth of Nightmare- It has powerful equip magic cards that equip greatly like Mage Power or United We Stand. It has powerful monsters like Gemini Elf. It has steaming hot trap cards like Torrientail Tribute and Magical Cylinders. It is good all around. Legacy of Darkness- This majorly supports Spellcaster, Warrior, Fiend, and Dragon decks. It has the famous Yata which can make your opponent not draw. It has the famous Fiber Jar which lets you start the game. $25 $5 $5 $5 $7 $8 $4 $4 $4 $4 $4 $4 $1 Total - $80 This is a product with $80 value being sold for $40. It will pump up a duelist's deck. It is worth the 5 star rating.

Rare cards come to papa! Konami is seriously ripping them selves off here! With this you get Relinquished, Dark ruler Ha des, exodia's head, Judgement of anubis, and other great cards. In addition to that you get the 6 earliest packs ever, most of them very hard to find or even out of print! Within those packs are some cards that are even better than the 6 holos! Cards like Raigeki(cant get much better!), Monster Reborn in holo form (not out of starter deck), Jinzo (woo hoo!!!), mirror force (woo hoo again),summoned skull holo form, Magic Cylinder and lots more. This set is great for beginners and experts alike. This set lodes you up with great cards to put in your deck and extra ones to trade for even better cards. And, just for some extra advice I'll order the packs that have came out so far from best to worst: 1)Metal raiders 2)legend of blue eyes 3)pharoah's Servant 4)labrynth of nightmare 5)legacy of Darkness 6)Dark Crisis 7)Ancient Sanctuary 8)magic ruler 9)Rise of Destiny 10)Soul of the Duelist 11)magicians force 12) Pharoanic gaurdian. I cant really put Flaming Eternity in a place yet because it just came out and I dont really know the cards that well. So I hope this reveiw is helpful to you.

I bought this for my 12 year old brother and his eyes popped out looking at the cards!!! Well worth the money if you're into Yu Gi Oh! trading cards.

Just let me state this: I'm not a Yu-Gi-Oh! player or collector but my two boys are.
I ordered this for one of my kids for making the honor roll and, he told me that very little else would have made him happier. From what I can see, the set includes a number of rare cards and a couple of decks but, like I said, I'm not an expert. All I can see is that the kids are happy. If this review is read by parents of Yu-Gi-Oh-playing kids, you can't go wrong with this one as a Christmas gift, a birthday present or a reward for the kid doing something really significant, like getting good grades in schools. _______________________________ My son's review: The Yu-Gi-Oh Master's Collection is pretty good. I got some really good cards like Dark Ruler Ra-Des and I also got the extremely rare Tri-Horned Dragon. I also got some weak cards like Basic Insect and Baby Dragon. Overall, I would rate this 4 1/2 stars.

This was a great deal, it would have cost me more money to get these outside of this pack; that alone is justification for this purchase. If these are the cards you want it's a good deal, it's pretty black and white.

This set is easily meant for collectors, not casual players, especially since it now costs $52. The individual limited edition rare cards this set comes with are classics. The packs it comes with are pretty good as well, though I've never liked Pharaoh's Servant or Legacy of Darkness.
My Pulls: Legend of Blue Eyes - Flame Ghost (Rare) Metal Raiders - Harpy Lady Sisters (Super Rare) Spell Ruler - Invader of the Throne (Super Rare) Pharaoh's Servant - Magic Drain (Rare) Labyrinth of Nightmare - Card of Safe Return (Ultra Rare) Legacy of Darkness - Bottomless Trap Hole (Rare)

You really cant beat this set. Taking the trip down memory lane opening all those old packs was amazing. I even got 3 cards I was looking for when I was younger, and one of them will really help my deck!
3 packs had Super rare or higher: Gaia the Dragon Champion out of LOB, Call of the Haunted out of PSV, and Banisher of the Light in SRL.
