This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Joey Starter Deck [Toy] (Toy)
This is a great deck that has the powerfull Red Eyes Black Dragon(Attack: 2400, Defense: 2000), Polyimerezation, and also Scapegoat. Although this may not be the best structured deck, it is still very powerfull and usefull. Thousand Dragon is also a very good Fusion monster that comes very handy in this deck. .... Everyone that buys this deck will be very satisfied. Here is a list of all the great cards that come inside this powerfull starter deck: Red-Eyes B. Dragon Change of Heart

New Joey Starter Deck improves Duelist Fundamentals!,

This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Joey Starter Deck [Toy] (Toy)
I have to say that compared to the original starter decks, Yugi and Kaiba, Upper Deck has done an excellent job of improving on the variety of cards and even providing a reprint of the manual with updated rules. The main difference between both the Pegasus and Joey Starter decks is the complexity of their deck contents. For those of you just beginning as a Yu-Gi-Oh! player, I recommend the Joey deck over the Pegasus deck. The Joey deck has powerful cards, such as Red Eyes Black Dragon and will help teach beginners to learn and focus on stratagies that will ultimatly help them get much better and possibly master the game. This Starter Deck also contains many Rare cards from the earlier expansions so you don't constantly have to buy cards from older sets, but the beginner can instead focus on mastering the new set of rules introduced with each booster expansion. Once the beginner has mastered the essential rules they can begin to either modify or change their entire deck structure by adding the Pegasus Starter Deck, which is also an excellent addition to any duelist's arsenal or they can continue to collect cards from booster expansions such as Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Magic Ruler, Pharaoh's Servant, Labyrinth of Nightmare, Legacy of Darkness, Pharanoic Guardian and the soon to be released Magician's Force. This starter deck will also help the advanced duelist improve their magic, trap and effect monster aresenal because it adds many usefull cards such as Magic Jammer, ScapeGoat and Penguin Soldier. Those of you just starting, I wish all of you good luck in your quest to master this exciting and challenging collectable card game.

OK, so you say you aren't rich enough to get good Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Well stop complaining because now you have two new starter decks and they come chocked full with STAPLE cards that are otherwise Super or Ultra rare and would cost a fortune to get (Change of Heart, Monster Reborn, Polymerization, etc.). The Joey deck is a great balance of monsters and magic with a dash of fusion monsters just for kicks. There is much debate over "which deck is better", however it really depends on the skills of the duelist. Mom's and Dad's: you need to get your own deck and challenge your kids. The only way to get good at the game is to play and experiment with different strategies. Also, it's good quality time with your kids and it gets them away from the television.
