If you liked WC2004, you'll REALLY like this game.,

This review is from: Yu-Gi-Oh 7 Trials to Glory (Video Game)
This is the 2nd (that I know of) game for the GBA that uses the rules for the actual card game (duel monsters). If you bought World Championship 2004, you'll like this game. There are a lot of things different about it: you have to walk around to choose someone to duel, and you can talk to them if you want to, as compared to WC2004 where you just pick a name from a list. In this new game, you get "duel points" after you win a duel, which you can exchange for packs of cards, as compared to the old game where you just got a pack of cards. I like the new way better because you can save up your points and buy a "box" of packs, or even another starter deck. One main bonus of the new game is the Password feature: for a mere 1000 duel points (it takes about 3 duels to earn that much), you can enter in the number that appears in the bottom-left corner of any [real] Yu-Gi-Oh! card, and if it exists in the game, you can buy it. If you don't have any real cards, you can easily find a list of all the cards and passwords on the internet. I bought 3 new GBA games a couple days ago, and I've played this one BY FAR the most. If you like dueling with real Yu-Gi-Oh! cards with real people and going to real tournaments, you'll like this game. You can also link up with someone else who has this game, just like in WC2004. About the restricted cards: Every time you go home to 'sleep' in the game (that's how it saves), the "day of the week" changes. There is a different restricted list for each week. There might be 6 cards on the list, or only 1. The cool part is, if you don't like the restricted list (like, if they restricted your favorite card), you can just save the game ('sleep') 7 times in a row and presto, you have a different restricted list. Number of decks: In the old game, you could only have 3 different decks at a time. In this new game, you can have A LOT!!!! I haven't scrolled down the list yet, but you can have at least 6 or 7 different decks. Awesome. If you like playing duel monsters (not masters), you'll like this game. If you like watching the tv show and you only collect the cards and don't actually duel anyone with them, then this game might not be for you. I really liked WC2004, but I like this game even better.

I bought this game for my son so he could duel on his own. He spends a lot of time with the game, it is his new favorite, so it must be pretty good. It looks a little boring to me, but I am not really into dueling.
