And the first duel of semi-finals is...Joey vs. Marik! (YIKES!!!!),
This review is from: Yu Gi Oh Series 3, Vol.2 - Darkness Returns (DVD)
This DVD contains the following episodes:
126. The Darkness Returns: Part II 127. The Darkness Returns: Part III 128. The Darkness Returns: Part IV 129. Clash in Coliseum: Part I 130. Clash in Coliseum: Part II ***"THE DARKNESS RETURNS: PART I" can be seen on Yu-Gi-Oh!: Season 3, Vol. 1 - Back to Battle City. ***Yu Gi Oh Series 3, Vol. 3 - Clash in the Coliseum contains the rest of the "CLASH IN COLISEUM" episodes. So, basically this DVD finishes up Joey and Marik's sinister Shadow Duel! Remember, whenver a player looses a monster, they actually loose their own strength and are weakened. Things don't look too good for Joey when Marik plays his Egyptian God Card (The Winged Dragon of Ra) in Phoenix Mode!!! Poor Joey!!! Who's gonna win this duel? Well, whoever it is, he will be able to leave the game in one piece while the looser pays the ultmate price! (This episode contains a seriously sad ending). Then, in "CLASH IN COLISEUM: PARTS I and II" we see Kaiba and Yugi duel in an intense game taking place in Kaiba's virtual coliseum. It's a truly exciting duel when both opponent's summon their Egyptian Gods...but is Obelisk stronger than Slyfer or vise-versa. Buy this DVD and see these 5 amazing episodes!

The duel between Marik and Joey is intense and full of the usual trash talking you come to expect from both of them. Marik is getting to be a bit disturbing and way over the top with the whole evil thing.
I know Ra is invincible and all, but I find it odd and just not right that you can ditch him to the graveyard and then just Reborn him into his 'ultimate' form....doesn't that seem a little unfair? Anyway, that is just my opinion on that. All in all, a good DVD for YuGiOh! fans.

Thanks for selling this VHS! I was so mad when they took this season of Yu-Gi-Oh! off the air. In my opinion they ruined the series with the newer versions of it. Thanks for allowing this anime fan to relive her favorite anime shows!!

This review is from: Yu Gi Oh Series 3, Vol.2 - Darkness Returns (DVD)
Praise Ra!! Yami no Marik is on the cover!! This DVD can NOT come soon enough! It includes Ep 126,127,128,129. I'll break it down for ya:
Ep 126, 127, 128 = Jounouchi (the fool) attempts to win against Mr. Sexaaaayy. 126 and 127 are basically the same as Japanese version, but in 128, Jou's supposed to be in a coma with IV needles and everything. Of course, Mr. Sexxay wins the duel! Ep 129 = Clash in the Coliseum part 1 - Kaiba v. Yami no Yuugi. Kaiba set up this whole virtual battle stadium where the virtual audience is going "Kai-BA! Kai-BA!" Very cute, but I would only watch this for the small bit where Mr. Sexxay washes his face and checks himself out!! WOOO!! I would recommend this to everybody!! So go buy it NOW!! |
