While not strictly "traditional," the music of the Guo Brothers remains incontrovertably grounded in Chinese classical style. Yue Guo's array of exotic flutes drive the melodies and draw the listener in, maintaining creative focus even through the more frenetic compositions. Other tracks evoke a peacefulness and concentration that could only come from rural China.
