Having the opportunity to review this Monocular Night Vision Scope, By Yukon is wonderful. Speaking of "Wonderful" This Unit performs everything as mentioned. For a beginner this was a great investment! There is a period of "Adjustment" that each person has to go through to learn the functions of night vision scopes. There is a solid "rubberized" coating and the lenses are accessible to clean. There are times that the Unit "Fogs" up due to the body heat and the cold (below 40 degrees F). The one battery lasted about two weeks, I NOW remove it after each use, because I left the unit on Once. Always Purchase two batteries (one for a back up). I felt that purchasing a Brand Name Scope (such as Yukon) has paid dividends. There are NO BLANK or BLACK-Dead spots. For $140.00 Dollars, this cannot be beat! Avoid Night Scopes that are "To Good A Price" or unrecognizable Brand names! The Only negative is the Two Buttons (On-Off & IR Light) are difficult to find for Right Hander's (which many people are) or when you hold the unit in your right hand. Also this may cause your fingers to cover the Infrared Light (for low light viewing). These are trivial issues and can be corrected by familiarity with use and time with the Scope.

Battery life - not so great. Got may be 20 min of total time, but probably battery was old. Ordered a 10-pack from Amazon, hope it would last longer.
Otherwise, a good solid product.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it. He is a total outdoorsy-person.
