4.0 out of 5 stars Love Foster & Christmas!
I greatly enjoy Lori Foster and I LOVE all things holiday. I've read all of these stories before, but I'm an avid re-reader and often find myself purchasing the same book more than once when I get the yen to read it again.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the pet pyschic story. It's a genre that simply does not appeal to me. However, all of Foster's books are...

3.0 out of 5 stars It was just ok!
I LOVE Lori Foster, her books are always good! I do have to agree with the other person and say Micheal was an awful book! But usually I just can't put her books down. This book though was just ok for me. I loved the stories but I thought they needed a lot more to them. They all left me wanting more. And for that reason, I have to rate it 3 stars. But otherwise it was a...

However, all of Foster's books are very amusing and entertaining. The only dissapointment I've had is that stupid "Michael" book (utterly horrible).

This is a great light read to get you into the mood for Christmas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Holiday Short Stories, January 4, 2011
This review is from: Yule Be Mine (Paperback)
All of the Christmas anthologies by various readers I have read in this genre seem to be sweet, holiday reads . . . they aren't deep, they are what they are. This is definitely my favorite holiday book of short stories. I really enjoyed and loved each of them and I learned something important from each one.
"He Sees You . . ." was sweet and happy.
"Do You Hear . . . " who hasn't known a psychic or at least someone who thinks they are . . . I liked the story behind this one and intuitive people can do a lot of saving! The funniest scene I've read in some time was when Ozzie carried Marci into her bedroom. Accepting people and animals as they are was a great lesson in this one for me.
"The Christmas Present" was a great story about the important aspect of life . . . not location, location, location; but timing, timing, timing.
And my favorite:
"White . . " A "miracle angel" neighbor teaches a policeman how wonderful Christmas can be even though he has been burned by what can really happen at Christmas on the streets of a busy city. After having been married to a policeman in a large city for over 40 years I personally know how depressing it can be for officers on the street. What a refreshing story this was for both of us to read! And . . . what a fantastic young woman for Detective Ross to have as a neighbor! I cried tears of joy at her remarkable perception of life.
Yule be Mine will hold an esteemed space on my bookshelf and I'll revisit it every holiday season!
Lori, you've hit another home run with these stories, thank you!

Note: Though I don't understand what Michael in My Man Michael??? i.e. NOT Micheal (spelling error) has to do with Yule Be Mine I would like to comment: My Man Michael is a well written book in the time-travel genre. It just wasn't Lori's typical kind of fiction. Did I like it as well as her other books, no, I don't enjoy time-travel books; however, that was my error in buying it, not Lori's error in writing it. It was a typically well written book by Lori. Will I keep My Man Michael, absolutely, as I may learn to appreciate time-travel sometime in the future, when I'll read it and enjoy it as I have her other books.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ugh., December 10, 2010

One of the worst books I have ever read...or attempted to read. The writing is so poorly done; Ms. Foster needs to find a new editor. Normally I pass all my books on to my mother, even if they're bad (I hate to suffer alone), but this was one so bad I simply threw it away. Don't make the same mistake I did and throw your money away, find something else.
