Wacky Elevator Christmas, maybe, January 3, 2000

"Lounge music" means different things to different people, but I would consider the tracks on this CD to be elevator music. It works great as office Christmas party background music, but if you're looking for fresh interpretations of traditional tunes, keep looking. (The "Christmas Cocktails" CD is a good place to start.)
I would actually only rate the music as 2.5 to 3 stars. The CD gains the extra points for value (although it clocks in at a short 32 minutes) and philanthropy -- Muzak is donating its portion of the proceeds from the CD to the Heart and Soul Foundation which supports music education programs for underprivileged children.
