his debut e.p. is my personal favorite and the one I listen to the most. mellow, simple. I think it's all just him and an acoustic guitar w/ a little harmonica. "I Don't Care" is a really great song. "Yuma" and "A Desolate Angel Blues" are unbelievable, the lyrics to these two songs are really heartbreaking. hard to believe he was so young when this came out.
he's really living up to the namesake Townes with songs like that. I have all his albums and like them all, but this is the one I always go back to. It's in my cd player right now. definitely worth the money, only 5 or so bucks to download.. if your interested enough that you took the time to read this review then it will well be worth it to you, so buy this now.

It's an excellent album!! Great music by Justin Townes Earle. I'd recommend it highly! If you liked Harlem River Blues, you'll like this as well.

Very well written, performed and delivered. Justin Townes Earle has writing in his blood. Helps of course when you father is Steve Earle.

Raw and sparse. Not as produced or polished as later JTE works. Songs are fantastic. This is one of my favorites of his.
