REVIEW FOR ORIGINAL FLAVOR YUMMI BEARS

Not all gummi bear vitamins are created equal. Some require two bears per dose, some require four bears. This one found a happy medium at three bears. My kids are happy they get one more bear than they did with our last gummi vitamin.

Some gummi vitamins only contain vitamins. This one contains vitamins and minerals. That extra bear lets them squeeze in more ingredients and make it a more complete supplement.

Some gummi vitamins taste horrible. This one is not too sweet, a tiny bit sour, and a little fruity. My children love the flavor. I don't think it's too bad myself.

PROS:
+ a more complete supplement than other brands
+ good flavor, children like it

CONS:
- three bears per dose
- children like it, so be careful to store it safely or they may eat it all in one sitting

SUMMARY

Since I use supplements as sort of a safety net for my picky eater, the more complete the supplement, the better. The fact the kids like it is a plus. I would buy this again.

These are the best. We are gluten-free, casein-free and soy-free, and these are perfect. Each kid gets 3 per day -- sometimes I give one at breakfast, one at lunch, and one at dinner, but sometimes I just give 3 at breakfast if I know I might forget later. The kids love them, so it's not hard to give them their vitamins! Highly recommended.

I started buying these vitamins for my daughter in the winter and she really likes them. Recently I placed an order, and due to heat, they arrived melted into one large blob. I was about to return them, then I noticed Amazon writes about the melting problem in the description (though they claim it's "rare") and will not accept returns on the vitamins.

I got the vitamins right from the hands of the UPS driver, so they weren't melting in the sun on our porch - they were just baking in the brown truck all day.

I wouldn't recommend buying them in the summer time or if you live somewhere hot. Stock up in the winter.

We love these vitamins and they leave no aftertaste...it's like your eating a gummy bear! Plus I don't have to worry about unhealthy byproducts in them.

After alot of trial and error (and alot of expense) I happened upon these Yummi Bears vitamins. My son (5) does very well with them. I buy the Yummi Bears Multivitamin and the Yummi Bears Whole Food and Antioxidant vitamin. I alternate between those 2 each day. I like that I can choose to give him 1-3 bears depending on what I know he is going to eat through the day and I can give my daughter (now 3) 1 to 3 bears to add to her diet as well.

I also like the fact that they are a natural product and not full of dyes, colors and additives. A much healthier vitamin. A very nice product.

As the parent of a food-allergic child, I needed a vitamin that was allergen-free and delicious-- done!! The kids take their 3 bears/day with no problems. I buy the jar of 200 which is a much better deal than the 90 bear jar. I have purchased the other flavors in the past (watermelon, cherry) but the kids do not have seem to have a preference so I am sticking with the large-sized jar. My only (small) complaint is that sometimes the vitamins arrive with the saftey seal broken. Luckily I buy through Amazon and a replacement is there the next day.

These gummies tasted awesome. One of the only downsides is that it has a lot of sugar. The other downside? It's gelatin is made form pork. If your fine with that, then go ahead they are awesome.

I have tired to find a vitamin which contains a good amount of vitamins and minerals for my kids. I shop at Whole Foods and they are liberal with their return policy, which is good because I went through about 6 kinds of "kids" vitamins, all of which were rejected by my children. Finally, I brought home the Yummi Bears and the problem was solved. It's not hard to get them to eat 3 vitamins because they are like candy for them. The only problem was the cost...Whole Foods sells them for something north of $20. So, finding that I can buy them on Amazon (and I've got the free shipping option) saves me a bundle. With 3 kids and 3 vitamins each, we go through a bottle every three weeks! In short, I rate these with 5 stars.
