I wasn't a big fan of THE WIGGLES at first, but I now love them, well because my daughter is amazed by them since she was only like 4 months old ( she will be a year old on halloween). I bought this cd because she started to cry in the car whenever I needed to take her with me, and you can only listen to a crying baby for so long before you want to pull your hair out. I put in the cd, and I swear, it was like a miracle, she was quiet the whole time. and she even falls asleep to it. The only drawback, the music gets stuck in your head, but at least you'll have hair. If you only want to buy one, make sure it's songs you are familiar with, i don't think there is the need for a lot of cd's...
barbara, growing her hair back in long island.

At first I wasn't a big fan of the CD, but with in 2 car rides I was singing all of the songs. Our 6 month old daughter thinks it is the greatest. Perfect for a road trip, she could listen quietly for hours. A personal favorite is "Fruit Salad". The only down side is that my husband and I find ourselves singing the songs in our head all day long. Great tunes.

We're Wiggles fans from back when the now defunct FOX Family channel showed the Wiggles World TV show. And though at first the Wiggles seemed a bit "odd" I've grown to love and admire them. Oh, yeah, my girls like them too.
As a musician who hates most insipid children's music, I find the Wiggles' song-crafting refreshingly clever and pop-oriented - easy to listen to ad infinitum - and I find myself singing along. This CD in particular has many of our Wiggly favorites - who can find fault with Fruit Salad or Hot Potato?
And if you get a chance to see the Wiggles live, do so! These guys act as un-jaded, nice and enthusiastic as they come, and put on a truly memorable and enjoyable show for kids and their tired parents! And we met Murray Wiggle headed for Starbucks!
And get the videos - they are a must for you and your kids to truly appreciate the Wiggles.

My 4-year-old son will not let us play anything in the car except Wiggles. And this particular CD, "Yummy Yummy," is his favorite. The songs on this disc are clear, crisp, and memorable. Focusing on food, such as "Hot Potato" and "Crunchy Munchy Honey Cakes"...
The Wiggles' sound can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The songs are melodic and catchy. The lyrics are straightforward, simple and sometimes very funny. Best of all, it doesn't take much of a stretch of imagination for adults to think they're listening to pop radio. That's why I don't mind when my son asks for The Wiggles. We can all enjoy it together (although he asks me not to sing along because "daddy's singing gives me ear owies."

My 20 month old can't get enough of The Wiggles! We have the video, so when she recognized the songs playing in the car, she was dancing away in her car seat! The Wiggles sing songs with simple melodies and words, so it became real easy for my little girl to learn how to sing along. I believe it actually helped improved her talking skills! We commute an hour to get home, so this CD definitely helps to keep her busy. I highly recommend this to any parent that need a little help keeping their little ones occupied during traffic! Just pop the CD in and watch them sing, sing, and SING !!!! You'll find yourself singing, too ! I do!!!

The most notable aspect of The Wiggles is their talent for writing songs. The singing is good, the songs are performed well, and the tunes are catchy. Although the songs tend to stick in your head relentlessly, they are actually musically good enough that they aren't going to drive you as insane as say, Barney. Still, be prepared to wake up at three in the morning with the Yummy Yummy theme song going through your head.
This video has one song which is pretty annoying, because they altered the voices to be high-pitch and the music is sort of a techno-dance theme. Plus, they use puppets of the Wiggles to perform this piece, against a backdrop of psychadelic patterns. It's pretty annoying, but the rest of the video is fine. Of course, my two-year-old loves the annoying part anyway.
My two-year-old loves the music and dancing. My six-month-old loves to watch the funny faces and interesting characters in the videos.

My son is 20 months old and has been listening to the Wiggles for what seems like forever. So you can imagine, he LOVES the Wiggles. Hot Potato is his favorite song. To have a peaceful car ride, we must have 'his music' (Wiggles) on. As an adult, yes, I think they are a bit goofy. But kids love them and are entertained by them. And they ARE educational. They talk about things like morals and hygiene and have songs about counting and animals. If anyone is appalled that they are on TV, then turn it off. Anyone with a child knows that they like silly things...things to make them laugh and have fun. Sometimes I have to act silly. Am I insane? No, I'm a parent. If it can't be me to act silly and get my child to have fun, then it might as well be the Wiggles. So, yes, I'm a parent who 100% approves of my child watching the Wiggles. It's a lot better than some of the stuff that is on TV right now.
