WOW, WHAT A GREAT BOOK!,

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I thought it was a very candid, straightforward analysis of how we guys really do think. I liked the real life examples and the candor with which these guys shared their own mistakes in communicating with the women in their lives. I really thought the chapter, "Wanna Do It?" was an excellent chapter on sex and how men and women think about it differently. Their approach on this topic, based on faith based principles, was very refreshing. I would recommend this book to men and women from teenagers to seniors.

A Fresh Approach to an Eternal Dilemma...,

I like a book where the authors aren't afraid to take a jab at themselves. This book reads like a conversation with friends - who happen to have years of training in the world of relationships. Thomas and James avoid the didactic and instead offer an engaging, refreshing and downright funny look at the challenges of love.
And I learned a thing or two while laughing out loud...who knew why educated, middle-aged men get so wrapped up in the pre-school tug of war contest, stand in a room screaming fearlessly at a television set, or refuse to ask for directions?

We did it as a bible study,
This review is from: "Yup." "Nope." "Maybe.": A Woman's Guide to Getting More out of the Language of Men (Paperback)
We did these books as a couples bible study. Each week we would read the women and men's chapter and then discus them. The men started talking and it really sparked some great conversations! It was a great book... funny, informational, easy to read, and clever..... we all loved it.

For women everywhere, this is an must-have for marriage. It explains so much about why men do what they do... like stay in the bathroom so long. It's been eye-opening for me, and yet it is simple and quick to get through. The stories illustrate the points in a light-hearted way that makes this book an enjoyable read. Give it to every woman you know who is getting married!
