I have purchased this product for many years. The scent is wonderful. This recent purchase was a major disappointment! The scent is VERY weak. I suspect that the product has been diluted. Shame on you Yves Saint Laurent. Another company trying to cheat the uneducated consumer. I am now searching for another scent. By the way, I have purchased scents from this company for over 15 years.

I don't like the name "Baby Doll," not one bit! And I usually don't buy the better-known perfumes, finding that I tend to like some of the more offbeat ones. So this was a wonderful surprise! I love the sprightly smell of red currant, which is the strongest element of this fragrance. Grapefruit and rhubarb are also there, but blend imperceptibly into the red currant. Although these are all fruits, the effect is NOT one that leaves you smelling like "food."

This is a very artfully balanced fragrance, highly unified, in which the other elements just add a depth to the sharp/sweet fruit smell as the harmony adds to a musical composition. One of my absolute favorites!

First let me say I love this perfume. It's very sweet yet not overpowering or sickeningly so. However the 'casual' recommendation is incorrect. I would not wear it to work; it's a bit too sweet for that. It's the perfect combination of sweet and spicy (grapefruit and florals) for after work though. Very pretty; one of my favorites lately.
