I've been looking for a long time for the right bedside lamp and hesitated due to the cost, but after trying other options, found nothing else fit the bill. I wanted an adjustable LED lamp of good brightness that had sufficient reach in height and extendability. This is a very long lamp that is amazingly adjustable and really did the trick. The light quality is lovely. It's more than bright enough for reading in bed, and the directionality of the LEDs minimizes spillover to anyone who might be beside you. Even extended, the lamp holds its position nicely, and thanks to the clamp-on option, takes up next to no room on the bedside table.

I love this light. Dimming is perfect though the light makes 6 shadows for six LEDs. I think it will be nice if there is a filter that can blur the shadows.

... it's high tech... a conversation piece... a real space saver... it outputs exceedingly bright, useful light for my desk and adjoining area, well suited for work, reading, more... and at a mere 9 watts for bright output, it has noticeably cut my electric bill, as it replaced a high-wattage desk lamp. Price: a little steep. I suspect we're paying more for sleek design than the material. Yet, that design is a showstopper, and the functionality and convenience are superb. Four levels of light output. Gracefully glides into position with a minimum of effort on my part. Love it.

Tried out this lamp (warm) and it is NOT bright enough to read or write by. Also, something I don't see mentioned in other reviews....this led lamp casts 6 distinct shadows off your hand when writing by this lamp. They are very noticable and can be very distracting. This alone is enough not to use this lamp. Preset dimmer buttons are not the way to go either. If I had known this before, I would have never bought this lamp. Overpriced for such a weak light.

Returned the new lamp and was charged a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping. Wow, such an expensive venture for a weak lamp I can't use!
