I ordered this chair because it was relatively inexpensive. It broke after a single day of use. The design is simple, and assembly was easy for this sort of thing, but the knob used for adjustment of the seat back depth is also the only thing supporting the seat back. The threaded section of this knob does not entirely match the threading of the nut that is welded into the receiver frame of the seat bottom. On the second day of use, I noticed a creaking sound as I leaned back, and after a few moments, the bolt stripped, and the seat back abruptly released, almost causing an injury. The seat back was still contained by, but not supported by the receiver of the seat bottom frame.

I should note that this seat was not comfortable when it was intact, with most of the seat back entirely without padding, and dense little lumbar pads that can not be adjusted.

I am in the process of returning this item to Amazon.
