I bought this desk for my home office and I must say that I love it. I considered a number of different desks. The first thing that I like about it is that the glass top screws securely to the desk frame. Other desks that I've looked at only have suctions cups to secure the glass top. The glass top is also a smokey color. Which is great. The only thing that I wish was different is that the wood legs were on the front and back. As in the picture, you can see the wood legs. But, when you turn and look at it from the back, you see the black metal legs. It isn't a huge deal, just aesthetic preference.
Assembly wasn't too bad. I put it together by myself in under an hour. The only complaint is that it is difficult to secure the keyboard tray to the frame tightly. Maybe it's just because I'm not mechanically inclined. But, I was able to get it secure enough for my use. Overall, this was a great purchase and I would highly recommend it!

This desk is even more attractive in person than it is online! The top is smoke colored glass (seems darker to me than the online picture shows) and all the metal pieces have a nice weight and finish to them. The desk arrived well-protected with no damage/defects and no missing parts. Assembly instructions are clear and concise with all parts clearly labeled. Once assembled, the desk seems solid.
This is a nice desk for under $200 compared with what is available at local retailers for a similar price. Highly recommend!

This is a good desk. It was relatively easy to assemble, but some parts didn't line up perfectly. Nothing a little pushing didn't fix. The glass was sturdy with no chips. Instructions were very good with well-labeled parts.
The keyboard tray doesn't roll very easily, and it was stuck when I first got it. After the first couple of weeks of use, though, the rolling mechanism has smoothed out to an acceptable point. It's very attractive with good quality parts. The two wood beams and wood back are real wood, not laminate. All in all, everything works, looks good, and is of high quality. Other than that, it's a desk. What more do you expect of it? P.S. Strangely, a card showing off Z-Line's sponsored 2008 Nascar season was inside. The desk was manufactured in August, 2009. That means that when the desk was made, the card was already over a year out of date. Why the hell did they put it in?
