This desk fits the bill for what I was looking for - something metal and glass with a modern flair. It is well made and it isn't at all cheap or flimsy like I was concerned about when looking for a desk of this type. Assembly was straight-forward and easy to do by myself. The tolerances are excellent and all the parts fit properly. The bookcase portion of the desk is quite nice and easily accomodates my needs. I recommend this desk to anyone looking for something a bit different than the usual desk.

I needed a 2nd desk in my office for my iMac. This desk is perfect. Very sturdy including the keyboard tray which tends to be flimsy on some other desks I've seen. The parts were each individually labeled, holes were precisely drilled, instructions easy to follow and everything went together very easily. 2 of us assembled it in under 1 hour. The only instruction that was unclear was deciding whether the holes in the crossbeams should be facing up or down. They face up. These are used to seat the rubber cups that hold the glass shelves. That is not obvious from the pictures and we couldn't tell what they were for until we were further along. So we did have to disassemble it part way through and turn the bars around. Otherwise, no problem putting it together and it looks great! Minor issue - the top two bookshelves are too shallow to hold a printer because there's no place for the prints to land except on the floor.

I found the unit to be surprisingly sturdy as it looks pretty flimsy. I was able to mount a heavy metal monitor (about 40 lbs with monitors attached) stand to the glass without any problems. Assembly was a breeze and took less than an hour to put together.

What I don't like that the stabilization bars don't stay, my feet constantly knocked them off. I also don't like the keyboard tray which does not lock in place while typing, very annoying to have keep pulling it back in place. Another drawback is there isn't much you can do to hide all the cables from the various components from your computer.

This desk is a decent choice at this price point, you get what you pay for.

This table is perfect for what I need. Putting the desk together was easy and straight forward, especially after reading a tip from one of the reviews. If I could change one thing about this product, I would extend the length of the middle shelf to accommodate my printer. Even though I have to bend down a little to fax or scan, I'd still purchase this desk without disappointment.

this desk was perfect for me, i did not want to spend alot of money because most of my money is going into my computer. this desk is great for the money. one thing i found very nice is when i got it i thought the shelves were on the right side but the picture showed it on the left so i was going to send it back but i found out the shelves can be switched to either side.the instructions do not say or even show you how to but it goes together the same just reversed so its not to hard. i was sad to find out my computer did not fit on the bottom shelf but i do have a 2ft tall case, the bottom shelf is about 19inch from glass to metal bar on the next shelf. overall this desk is well worth the money and exactly what i needed.
-PROs - very stable and tough no creek sounds when shook and no loose parts - glass is nice and thick can almost support me standing on it though not advised -easy to put together - keyboard tray slides out easy and is very smooth/although has no lock so it can slide back while typing - lots of shelf space, the shelfs are mutch bigger than i thought.
-CONs -my biggest problem was that the glass was covered in stands of fiber glass witch are very annoying to clean and stick to your hands, it is actually pretty dangerous especially if inhaled -the welds on the metal are not very good, they are sufficient but thats it. - it is next to impossible to hide cables, the back of the desk is very bare and open.
-specs desk 3ft x 2ft ,keyboard tray 25.5in x 12in ,height from floor to keyboard tray (legroom) 25in ,top two shelfs 14in x 22in ,bottom shelf 2ft x 22in , height between shelfs bottom 19in middle 17in
hopfully some of these specs can help, check you computer height or your stuck putting on top of the desk or underneath.

This desk is great if you have a laptop and have a small home office area. It has plenty of room for my laptop and all my files. I am a salesman so I'm constantly in and out of the office. The shelves on this are awesome too. They're plenty big enough for printers, scanners, fax machines, filing systems, etc... The glass top is great as well.

Great packaging, easy setup, fast shipping...This brand was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend to anyone else.

This desk is awesome. The glass and metal along with the z-based shape really give the desk a modern, industrial feel. The assembly was relatively easy. I was impressed with the small gesture the company had to give extra hardware since most products don't include them any more. The glass came perfectly unscratched and the desk as a whole is very sturdy once assembled. I highly recommend the desk for anyone looking for a moderate sized desk for an apartment, dorm, or office.
