A nice stand,
This review is from: Z-Line Portland Flat Panel TV Stand with Integrated Mount (Electronics)
I got mine at COSTCO, not Amazon.
It looks great, matches the Black of my 50" Panasonic Plasma great along with my Left and Right speakers and stands. The Swivel mount works good. Makes it a little easier when you need to get behind your HDTV. Not a huge need to swivel with a Plasma since the viewing angle is so wide. It's also quite a heavy stand!!! It holds a lot also. A Negative is because it's Gloss Black, it does collect a lot of dust easily. Hanging my Plasma on the wall wasn't a option for me. I also didn't want my Plasma sitting on top of a Glass Shelf. I've seen pictures of what happens when the shelf shatters even though the Rated weight rating was much higher then the HDTV and yet still shattered. I like the look of it up in the Air. The center support blocks the view of any wires, which for me is the power cable and a single HDMI cable. It also allowed me to place the center speaker right under the center of my HDTV with it up in the Air like it is. It is adjustable Up and down, not real easily, but possible. I have mine mounted up to the second to last top hole. This allowed me to fit the speaker under the HDTV, have it at a nice viewing height which if I had just used the Stand my Plasma came with and sat it on the top shelf would have been way to LOW to view. I'm about 7 feet from my screen and even when I'm fully reclined I can still see the screen fully without even my feet blocking the screen. I've seen other HDTV stands with these type of center lift mounts but most are pretty flimsy feeling to me. Not fully part of the stand where you can remove it and not use it if you like. Not this one. It's Part of the stand. It's bolted on. It's wide and strong. There's no give, no sway, it's solid. There's a bolt kit, with lots of different bolts to fit just about any HDTV, Plasma or LCD made to fit this stand. I popped the caps off the back of my Panasonic Plasma, Installed the 2 Brackets with the Included/Correct bolts, and lifted it onto the Stand mount, then screwed up the lock bolts to keep it from somehow being knocked off. Your HDTV isn't going anywhere!!!

Pros- Fairly easy to set up, solid, inexpensive, looks great
Cons- Shows dust very fast I have a 52" LCD on the bracket, Center channel on top shelf, DVR and PS3 on middle, and Denon AVR-988 on the bottom. It holds it all like a champ. My friends keep asking where I got it and how much. Great purchase.

I first saw Z-Line stands at my local Fry's Electronics store. They are made of tempered glass and aluminum with an attractive modern design. Z-Line stands are more expensive then other stands but for the materials they use and the stoutness of their designs, I didn't see any other brand that offered the same.
The Portland has adjustable mounts for height; which is why I wanted this particular model. My LG 50" 50PK550 plasma is mounted on the bottom mount and stands 51 inches high overall. If I mounted the TV to the very top, the overall height would be 61 inches tall. So I was surprised and happy to know that this stand offers plenty of height adjustment. Also the mount pivots too. In case you need to angle your screen more to the left or right. The one problem I had was with a defective part. One of the holes on a crossbar was not threaded. Using Z-Lines contact information for replacement parts, I fired off an email and within three business days I had a perfect replacement part. Way to go Z-Line for customer support! So if you need an adjustable height, well designed and customer support if things go wrong I'm very happy to suggest Z-Line.

The stand took about a hour and a half to put together, but strictly following the instructions made it simple. I was able to mount my 55" Vizio (with help of course) with no problems at all. The stand looks great and there is plenty of room to place any tv accessories on the three shelves provided. I love it!

This stand really fits our needs. It swivels easily and I can watch it from my armchair, computer, or my bed. It is a very solid and sturdy unit. We have a lot of components in addition to our 46" tv: Wii, ps3, yamaha amplifier, tivo, blu-ray player, center speaker, ipod dock, and a roku. The cord management system is a plus. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you have to dust it everyday and it smudges easily (fingerprints). This unit is a great value!
