i have a Toshiba 55UX600U 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV hanging from mine.

this stand is stylish. took about 70 minutes to put together...went slowly and deliberately as hanging a $1500 tv on it afterall.

strongly recommend.

This model needs more reviews, I guess I'll have to actually contribute for once...

I was looking for a TV stand that would lift the bottom of my TV above my 6" center channel speaker. The Z-Line stands really caught my eye, particularly the Madrid model. Some reviews on the Madrid model stated that the lower glass shelves visibly bow from the weight of your components, so I ended up going with the Sarona model as it looked like it had much thicker glass shelves in the pictures and was listed as weighing 30 pounds more.

After receiving and assembling the stand, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The glass shelves (non-translucent black) are supported by metal frames underneath. The lower two shelves sit on 4 supplied rubber buttons positioned on the corners of the metal frame, I may put a few more on in the future to support the glass better in the center, but there is no visible bowing. The two lower shelves just slide in, so I would remove them before moving the stand long distances. But with the weight of components on the shelves, they're not going anywhere.

The upper shelf is a little thicker than the lower two and screws down to the top metal frame at 4 points.

The lower shelves are wide enough to hold my Denon AVR receiver and Tivo Premiere, side by side with an inch of space on each side. The Denon receiver slides into the middle shelf like a glove, with only a few millimeters between the glass shelf and the frame above (the top shelf is raised above the open metal frame, giving the top of the receiver about 2" of open air for cooling). I never realized it would be so close, they must have designed the shelves with that in mind.

I installed the TV mount at the lowest of the three options on the rear riser so my 46" LED TV would sit about 7" above of the top shelf. I'd estimate the upper mounting point would put the bottom of my TV around 20" above the shelf, but don't quote me on that.

The TV support on my stand actually leans back at a 1 degree angle, I didn't even notice it until I mounted the TV. I'd guess it's better that it leans back than forward with the moment that a large/heavy TV could place on the riser. The TV mount doesn't have any tilt options, so I took the TV mount back down and placed a 5/16" washer behind the mount on the upper two bolts to cancel out the lean. I could have added one, or even two, more washers to lean the TV forward, but I'm happy with it being straight up and down.

The cables that run to my TV (HDMI, spare antenna, power) go in the open behind the riser. They are slightly visible through the grill, but if it bothers me enough, I'll just tie them to the side behind the load baring bars so they aren't visible.

The only real downside to the new stand is that I now feel I could use a bigger TV. I previously had my TV on it's stand, sitting on top of a cheap media cabinet. Mounting it on the Z-line moves it back about a foot and a half from its previous position.

I was a little worried that this model was no longer in stock as it's not listed on Z-line's website. Amazon didn't give me any warm and fuzzy feelings either by saying "shipping soon" for 5 days, but I now believe they simply sat on the shipment since I selected the Free Super Saver Shipping (they didn't want me to get the shipment before the 5-8 day window).

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice TV Stand, February 8, 2010
This review is from: Z-Line Sarona Flat Panel TV Stand with Integrated Mount (Electronics)
I just bought this tv stand yesterday at Bernies going out of business sale ($299). It looks great, very sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble, although a bit time consuming. This stand looks even works well as a corner tv stand, which is how we're using it. I'm happy with this stand.
