5.0 out of 5 stars One more great album from Z-Ro - 4.5 stars, February 7, 2008
By
This review is from: Z-Ro Vs the World (Reis) (Audio CD)
This is the 6th solo album of Z-Ro's that I have, and 1 album with Lil Flip, and its plain to see from those that the man can't put out a bad album. Of the 7 I have 2 are 5 stars ("King Of Da Ghetto" and "Life Of Joseph McVey"), 2 get 4.5 stars (this one and "Let the Truth Be Told" and 3 get 4 stars, ("I'm Still Livin" and "KOTG: Power" - as well as his album with Lil Flip). Defineitley one of the best rappers ever fromt he south (Scarface, Bun B, Pimp C) and probably one the best best, period. With 16 songs on here, 3 are ok, 13 are good, the majority are real good or almost classics. Guests are on about half of the songs. Production is great as well, no production credits are given (I have the re-release from 2004). A must have album form of the greatest rappers around.

#1 - 9 (tight beat, reuses the chorus on one of his later albums)
#2 - 9.5 (tight beat)
#3 - 8.5 (f/ Wood & Slimm Chance)
#4 - 7.5 (f/ 3-2 & Point Blank)
#5 - 6.5 (f/ Slimm Chance -- Z-Ro has only good verse but it don't start til 3 mins. into the song)
#6 - 7.5 (f/ Paparue)
#7 - 8 (f/ Den Den & Dat Boy Grace -- nice beat)
#8 - 8.5 (good beat)
#9 - 9 (deeper song with good beat)
#10 - 8.5 (f/ Dat Boy Grace)
#11 - 8.5
#12 - 8.5 (f/ Storm -- nice beat)
#13 - 9 (deep song - nice beat)
#14 - 9.5 (tight beat)
#15 - 9 (f/ Hawk (R.I.P.)
#16 - 8 (smoking song)

Z-RO Always goes hard all of his albums jam. He should definetly
have a deal. His lyrics are hardcore and on point. He raps fast
and slow. He has all of the tools. You need to pick up this great
southside classic

First Let Me Begin By Saying Z-ro Is Maybe The Most Underated And Slept On Rapper. Every Cd He's Put Out Has Been Raw As Hell This Being Maybe His Best. This Is One Of Those cd's You Can PLay All The Way Through But Then Agian You Could Say That About Every Z-ro Album But This One is My Personal Favorite With 'Look What You Did To Me'[Z-ro's First album]A Close Second.

5.0 out of 5 stars dont sleep on z-ro, August 5, 2006
This review is from: Z-Ro Vs the World (Reis) (Audio CD)
yall need to show some love and support to z-ro... he has been giving you some top quality jams to jam to... this lyricist is cold and he is real... he dont do all the bragging like other artists out there... he speaks the truth and the truth is what its about ya feel me... he actually speaks about things that some of us are going through and have been through... if you been through things like he have you can relate to the song and how he feels about it.. on the real though he is off the chain and i own everything he ever came out with cause i feel him 100% to the fullest... make sure you cop this if you dont have it... dont sleep on z-ro..

THE THREE BEST AND "REAL" STORYTELLERS OF RAP OF ALL TIME...

Before I knew about Z-ro, I was listening to these rappers just putting out a song with a good beat and sorry lyrics...or they have a good beat and good lyrics but they really aint saying anything...

Rappers such as Nelly, Ludacris, Chingy...they have nothing to say..

anyway, I don't want to sit here and write an essay...Big UPS! to Z-ro for keeping it real..

He can be HARDCORE, he can be SENSITVE but most importantly, he's keeping it real, all the way across the board..

The New Tupac!
