I bought this 12x12 shelter specifically for a vacation in Destin, FL. Set-up and take down was very easy. Most of the time we only had two people doing it. The beach is a little windy but the shelter held up fine.

There were 2 other E-Z Up shelters on the beach as well. Some folks left there's up the whole week with no issues.

The carrier is also of great quality. Putting the shelter back in the bag is very easy and the wheels make for easy travel.

I bought this exact item locally and paid 25% more and still think I got a great deal. It sets up fast and easy and has provided great protection from Rain and Sun. It's great at the beach!

Excellent product- great quality- It takes about 4 minutes to put up and also to take down. It fits nicely into its roller case which is also of good quality. It is worth the price- we use it on our deck and also take it camping to put over our picnic table- stands up well to rain and wind.

I read the reviews of this item before buying that indicated you could leave it up at the beach for a week, not taking it down at night. That was not true in our case. We quite enjoyed the protection it gave the small children in our family the first day at the beach and when we came back the next morning, it was blown over: the wind had bent one of the supports and we couldn't use it anymore.
There was another broken tent just like ours in the garage of the rented beach house in Duck where we were staying. So my feed back is TAKE IT DOWN AT NIGHT and do not use in any kind of wind.

I purchased this product so that I could relax with my 3 kids at the beach. This product is awful for one woman to set up. It is easy to pull the four corners out into a square, but to push them up and lock them into place is very, very hard. Unless you have older kids or another strong person to help, do not buy this product. Look for something that explicitly states that only one person is needed. I looked for the EZ-UP brand, and I am very disappointed. This should not be called an EZ-up.

We bought this last summer. It was great. It is quick set up, however, it does take two adults to put it up. You must stake it down! We had it up on a day with no wind. A gust came up out of nowhere and blew it into our neighbors yard. The metal frame was destroyed. But, we liked it so much, we are buying another one this year.

This takes 2 people to set up and is hard to lock the top in. Once it is setup it is great. Can't with stand too high wind, we where on the beach and it got really windy and part of the upper frame started to bend in, but another look-a-like got totally destroyed.

I puchased an E-Zup Canopy early summer 2007. It worked fine that first season. The second season I noticed the top had stretched and water pools up on all sides after it rains. So 1 year later the $300 canopy is now useless junk. I went to the website and a replacement top is $150 and it is not under warranty as the rep told me it is meant to be up for only 4 hours at a time and never let rain hit it. So if you purchase an E-Zup it is useless in the rain. Absolute junk.

Attractive, good materials, easy to raise and the rolling bag is nice. But be very careful in raising the support poles and braces. Very easy to warp or bend the braces just a bit out of shape and then the product is pretty much shot. Wanted some tech help from the company on putting stronger bolts, connectors etc. but their customer service never bothered to answer any of my messages.

the e-z up shelter was exactly as ordered. Quick shipment. would do business with o'grady Hardware again.
