Love the Zagat, Love the Kidle - Don't buy Zagat for Kindle,

What a wonderful idea, carry the Zagat guide on your Kindle except that the Kindle version isn't searchable.
Listings are interactive (ie. you can go to neighborhood section and click on a restaurant) but you'll be paging through the neighborhood section until you get to where you want to go. I'm amazed that no one thought to set up the Kindle version so it would be useful and searachable - an expanded index for easy navigation would have done the trick. Current Kindle Zagat in non-searchable format is cumbersome and not practical. What a dissappointment. |
