Hi Everyone! Today we are going to review the new Real Tears Baby Annabelle. If you have read most of my other reviews they were pretty negative but not this one! Baby Annabelle is the best baby doll you can buy according to me. She is electronic, but her battery system is not complicated at all. She laughs, sucks on her bottle and pacifier, sleeps, wakes up to noise and now crys real tears! She comes with the outfit she's wearing, a pacifier, a bottle and a rattle. You can give her real water with the bottle but she does not wet her diaper like baby born or baby alive which I have given negative reviews.(you can read those too if you want)Baby Annabelle is about fifty dollars at target. One thing I find a little disturbing about baby annabelle is that she sounds like darth vadar from star wars when she "sleeps breathing heavily". If you want to purchase this doll make sure the kid understands that it is not real and does not freak out about the darth vadar noises. The doll is a little on the expensive side, but worth it. My friend's little sister Jenny has it and adores it. She never plays with her baby born doll. I would say buy this doll. Most little girls ages 4-7 love it. Jenny sure did! I had to buy one for my little girl and think im having as much fun with her as my daughter is..

Perfect for birthdays or think Christmas as this may be hard to find by then as I think this is a great hot toy for Christmas as it has just came out..

My daughter is 10 years old and still loves dolls! She LOVES this doll. It makes all the noises and eats, etc... She is very happy with it.

The only thing on my daughter's wish list and by the end of Christmas day 2008, the doll stopped working. I thought the doll was really cute and the features were great when it worked and my daughter had already fallen in love with the doll. We changed the batteries three times in two days and finally the doll just stopped working altogether. I exchanged the doll and got the same results. I even brought rechargeable batteries too. I didn't want to give up on the doll because my daughter really like her newborn baby as she called it, so I replaced doll #2 with doll #3 and the results were still the same. Within one week after Christmas, 12 batteries and three dolls later, none of them worked properly. They all started off working fine and then nothing. And I NEVER seen tears come from any of the 3 dolls!!! (Makes you wonder what all of that water will be like stuck in the dolls head after a week or so). The one thing I am glad about is that I didn't pay 100 bucks for the thing. We got ours from Toys are Us for $49.99. I did call the Manufacturer, Zapf Creations and they were very helpful and generous. Since our doll was a Toys R Us exclusive, they couldn't replace the same exact doll but was willing to replace the doll with another of their interactive dolls. I never cared about the money as much as the disappointment from my little girl. She still plays with Anabelle aka Jessie but not as much.

My daughter was very excited to receive Baby Annabelle for Christmas this year, but what a disappointment. It has a sequence of activities it is supposed to go through--giggle, drink, burp, sleep, wake & cry if there's a loud noise. The only thing it does with any regularity is drink from the bottle--then you have to "feed" it for a VERY long time before it will burp or sleep, generally longer than a 3-1/2 year old is interested in feeding a doll. Even then, it doesn't necessarily fall asleep, and it only makes the snoring sound for a few seconds before there is silence. If you don't "wake" the doll during the snoring, you have to turn it off and then on, or take the batteries out completely (it says this on the web site), to get it to do everything it is supposed to do. Emails to the company yield no response. Don't waste your money on this! I would give it zero stars if I could.

My 4 year old received Baby Annabell for Christmas 2008. Annabell is her best friend and like a real member of our family. Amazingly, she still works as well as she did on Christmas Day. Today is the second time we have changed her batteries since opening the box 11 months ago. I definitely recommend this doll for all of the little mommies out there.

My almost 3 year old loves her new doll. The doll is not very predictable in her responses, but my daughter still loves her, feeds her talks to her etc..

The head on the doll is heavy, but my little one doesn't seem to mind or even notice. The water sometimes drains out of her mouth, but that's not a big deal either. I rated her high because my daughter loves her so much!

I bought her for less at Toys r Us. Around $[...].

I bought this on Amazon thinking that it was a "NEW" version of Annabel. This doll sells for 40$ at toys r us. You can find it for even less if you look. I paid $100 on Amazon.

I bought this doll for my daughter for christmas, after much research. She absolutely loves it. The tears, turning of her head and noises are perfect for an 8 yr old to love & care for. I love it as does she.

My 5 year old loves this doll. We have both the prior addition and this new one and both are equally loved in our home. I have two daughters who love baby dolls. The cabbage patch dolls have been left collecting dust since Annabell entered our house.
