Reviewed ZAR's website and product videos. Chose ZAR over manufacturer's recommendation. Excellent layer coverage. Replaced fiberglass ThermaTru Mahogany door and left side panels and transom in place. Took a few coats, but matches the existing work almost perfectly. Much better than ThermaTru's stain at half the price. Will use ZAR exclusively from now on. Shipper had a problem delivering. 1st shipment damaged & un-deliverable. 2nd shipment can dented.

This was just what the" Dr of refinishing this 2 piece dresser set needed "the color was just what I wanted for this /it is a late 1940's set that was originally that blond color that was the newest color back then its all wood and still in good condition plus .always wondered what I would run into removing this color and soon found after the blond there is a heavy coat of near white over a very thin veneer of mahogany that in some areas on top surface the white was deeper into these areas of veneer so after 2 coats of stain the third time I only touched up the areas where the white seem to show lighter and that solved the problem it is all dark mahogany now also can see the grain of the veneer. Thanks to ZAR I will use from now on.
