The printer is great. I bought some CardStudio software to go with it but that product is a poor design / graphics product and if you only want to design, any app can work with the supplied printer driver.

It's fast, quiet and the output quality is pretty good. I have noticed a few blemishes on a couple of the cards, as though the ribbon had some blank spots, but otherwise good.

I would suggest that if you want this printer, buy it from a different seller. The CardStudio app is supposed to be compatible but all I get is error messages when trying to output a print job. But every other application works - even printed a couple cards in Excel just to prove it's the software and not the driver.

But Arrowhead was completely unresponsive and so I'm out the $70 bucks for the product. Their customer service is more like a Lack-of-Service.

I would buy the printer again, but not from them. And shame on Amazon for not protecting a long-time buyer (with 110+ purchases in the last 6 months.)

I have been using this card printer for about 4 months now and couldn't be happier. I've printed roughly a 100 cards and not one of them was off. Its a little more expensive than the competion but worth it, I'm a zebra customer for life.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. From day one it did not work as advertised. It took nearly 2 months to just to talk with the product support people from Zebra and it quickly escalated up the chain as turning it off and back on just didn't fix it. Eventually they told me it was a defective product and needed to be sent to them and they would send a new one. This is where the fun began. Over the next 4 months (April thru today) I received one voicemail from them and left upwards of 20 for them to get it returned. Their staff in customer service were pleasant but couldn't do anything about it and kept forwarding me to one individual who would not communicate with me. I did send multiple requests through their online service as well with no response. The replacement product may have been fine, but if that meant dealing with their employees, I would rather throw it out the window. I will never again purchase a Zebra product.

I really enjoy this printer. I received it to start work on custom ID cards for my business.

SETUP: This was a little bit difficult because the instruction manual didn't have any instructions, just pictures of the different steps. I had to go download the user manual from the Zebra site to know what I was doing and set it up properly. I had some trouble with trying to put the printer film in because it was a little hard to figure out. 3 / 5

QUALITY: The quality of the final product looks great. I have printed out a lot of sample cards to test out different colors and designs and I am very happy with all of them. The only issue I had was a white bar on the bottom of the design that I didn't like, where the printer wasn't applying the design on the white card, but I figured out how to remove that by fiddling with the XY coordinate settings. My product looks great and my customers will love it. 5 / 5

EASE OF USE: I had to buy $200 software to use the printer properly. I generally use Adobe Photoshop for my designs, and Adobe won't print doublesided, which is an issue for this printer. I tried exporting my designs into Microsoft Word and Acrobat (to test both of them) and had problems with positioning the artwork on the PVC card. Finally, I downloaded the demo for "Asure ID Solo" and printed a test card. The alignment came out perfectly. Paying $200 sucked to make the printer work properly, but I would rather pay that price and have a perfect product than keep fiddling with the other programs, wasting film and trying to get it to position right. 4 / 5

I bought this as a gift and my brother love it. The color is nice and the flexibility is awesome.
