I normally purchase Ultra cases for my builds. My last couple of Ultra cases have been disappointing as it seems they are skimping on quality (typical of items built by foreign slave labor) and skimping on dimensions. So, I decided to try another case. I liked the specs on the NZXT ZERO 2 and purchased two of them. They arrived this morning.
The roominess inside the case is fantastic making everything easy to work with. The wiring for the top USB and Audio ports is more than sufficient to reach the bottom of the case and hook up to the MOBO with excess to tuck away. The Hard Drive cage is excellent. I installed 3 HDDs, in both cases, spaced a full slot apart. The 120 mm intake fan blows air across the 3 HDDs. The position of the HDD cage allows easy hook up of the SATA cables to the ASUS P7P55D EVO MOBO. The PSU sits on its own level in the top of the case rather than sitting in front of the MOBO. This allows full and complete access to the entire MOBO - no obstruction. The PSU cables are routed to the right side of the MOBO and harnessed to the chasis framing. This case comes with one 120 mm intake fan in front (removing the front bezel for access to the fan filter is a snap), and two 120 mm exhaust fans in the rear. There is a place for four (4) more 120 mm fans in the sidewall and two 80 mm fans in the top and bottom of the case. Even with just the three fans that came with these units the air flow is incredible. The quality of construction is top notch. The wire connections for the top USB and Audio, and the Power switches, is solid. This is a sturdy durable case - you can feel it as soon as you take it out of the box. Good bye Ultra. I have also decided I will not purchase any mid-towers ever again. They just aren't worth it and they heat up too fast. I shop around. Tiger, NewEgg, Nextag, etc all wanted $20 - $25 more for this unit plus another $20 - $30 for shipping per piece. Amazon, you came through big and I'm telling everyone about it. Only a fool would pass up on this deal.

Pros & Cons,
This review is from: NZXT ZERO 2 Crafted Series Steel Full Tower Chassis - No Power (Black) (Personal Computers)
= Pros =
- Awsome amount of room its big thats for sure - The very easy pop on rail system for the drives (all drives) - The rail system for the hard drives faces you to make it even more easy for swapping - Ultra modren stylish look :) - Steel - The side case door just slides right into place when you take it off & on, No hassling with thos annoying ridgs you have to fit the door into on certain cases - 8 Fans - The front door of the case is magnetic so thats always nice there a little bit strong but hey at least its nice and snug and also straight when its closed (no gaps) - Very top of the door is see through so you can see what your CD/DVD drives are doing but yet its at the perfect amount of transparency so were it looks like its not see through at all. = Cons = - The top fan should probably have a filter, i guess you could always jimmy rig the bottom fan filter on the top but thats if you dont want one of the bottom - your choice cause this is mostly a dust issue - Like from the above con dust issues, the ports being on the very top could get lot of dust in them if there not covered or have nothing connected the case should of probably had some sort of cover that slid over the ports when not in use but thos cons arnt enough for me to subtract a star love the case to much Overall AWSOME case if your a gamer or anyone that wants to just have a nice stylish comp /w great cooling *5 stars*

Huge freaking case,
This review is from: NZXT ZERO 2 Crafted Series Steel Full Tower Chassis - No Power (Black) (Personal Computers)
This thing is a beast. I bought it to replace a rinky dinky rosewill 30$ case(not to say it was a bad case, just old), and I could not be more pleased with the product. This thing is huge, I mean compared to my old case, its HUGE. The room inside the case is more than adequate, so much so that I needed to buy a new PSU with longer cables so that I could power everything. I love the toolless design, its a world of difference from having to screw everything in, and will prove to be huge when it comes to swapping my HDD's out later on.
The front of this thing looks great when lit up, the ports on the top of the case all worked flawlessly, and the case itself is heavy and as thick as a brick. The edges are mostly curved and I didn't once slice my hand open when moving things around, which is always a plus. The one thing that may bother some people is the lack of cable managment which I admit could be frustrating, but I honestly could care less(thats why man invented twist-ties!). The stock fans included are all in working order, and the fact that you can put four of them on the side means this thing will always be super-cooled. There is no filter for the top fan included, but I mean what do they cost, zilch! Overall, I would recommend this case because it looks great and serves its function. Should anything else go wrong I'll be sure to make it known, but for now I am very, very pleased.

This is an awesome case! Plenty of room to work and tons of fan space. Pretty cool and good air flow. I have seven fans running and the stock cpu cooler is keeping my i5 at 51c at full load. Idles at 32c. I highly recommend this case!

I bought this case on amazon a few months ago and love it. It fits everything that i wanted to put into my computer build and has ample enough space left for other components if i am willing to purchase more. There are a few cons for this case considering its cheap price. The fact that it only comes with three fans already installed. Which means you will have to purchase up to 6 more fans, and since the first zero that came out had all the fans and it had a fan controller. But it doesn't matter since it is $40 cheaper compared to the zero. I also don't like the fact that there is a lack of cable management in the case but it is fine since there is no window to see all the hardware. My Asus M4a79xtd evo motherboard that has esata ports that have no space between them and the hard drive bay. I do like the window on the door so that you can check your internal temp on the fan controller that i had to purchase seperatly.

Poorly designed, heavy is all it has going for it,
This review is from: NZXT ZERO 2 Crafted Series Steel Full Tower Chassis - No Power (Black) (Personal Computers)
I was excited to get this tower to build my new computer, and found very quickly some serious design flaws. These flaws may be 'so what?' to the casual user, but to those building their own computer they are glaring flaws. That I'm able to list ten flaws in what is basically a metal box is pretty bad.1. The rear dual fans are locked side by side, which blocks any after-market coolers that take up a 120mm fan slot (Such as Corsair coolers) 2. The two fans that have filters are the front 120mm fan and the bottom 80mm fan spot. To reach the filter for the forward fan involves pulling off the entire front panel of the tower, held in place by plastic clips that look fragile. 3. The covers for the extra CD bays are flimsy and pop off if you bump them. 4. All the fans are screw-in instead of clip-in. 5. The back panel fans have the screw-on grids to cover the fan blades rather than case cutouts. 6. The top fan slot is blocked by the power supply. 7. The USB ports on the top of the tower are USB 1.1. 8. It says "Quad 120mm fans dedicated for CPU and GPU cooling" What it means is four holes where you could put a 120mm fan if you had them. Fans not included. 9. The side panels are held on completely by the thumbscrews... which puts so much pressure on them you need a screwdriver to get them on or off (Defeating the purpose of thumbscrews.) That's why most towers have a rail that you have to line up, so it's not relying on two little screws to hold the entire panel up. 10. The reset button is a nice metal button, the power button is a flimsy plastic one. It was a good price for a metal box, but a horrible choice for a computer tower. I'm returning this.

A great, large case for the money and first time builder of PC gaming towers. Plenty of room, lots of fan options. My only problem is that the front case latching were all busted on the bottom when I took it out of the box. The shipping box was severely destroyed as well - perhaps therein lies the answer. But because it will not affect the case's primary function, and it's for me, I felt no need to return it for the hassle of getting another one. Perhaps if the case exceeded $150, but not for this bad boy. Would I recommend it? For the price and roominess, yes.

this is am amazing case and one that id definitely recommend. It has enough room to fit pretty much everything you want and the sliders it comes with makes everything so much easier. Also, this case looks a lot cooler in real life then it does in the stock photo, it just looks amazing. there are a lot more places on the case where you can put fans to make it even cooler (as in colder and better looking)
All together this case is WAY worth the price and if you need a full tower case and your on a budget look no further.

I bought this case for a new build and I couldn't be happier. Everything fits great and there's room for at least 9 fans. I would definitely recommend this case to everyone.

Although the box appeared to be sealed at the factory, it only contained the case itself - no instruction manual and no screw-less rails (needed to mount DVD player and hard drives). The screw holes for the power supply show scratches where someone obviously tried to mount one. Don't think it was an Amazon issue, more like NZXT factory slipped a used chassis into a new box.
