5.0 out of 5 stars These should be included !
Every product which runs on a transformer should include one of these. Cheap, totally useful - Buy a dozen, so you will always have enough.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good Product but expensive
Good Item but too expensive. We all have the problem with our surge protectors female receptacles being too close together. This shorty extension cord should be cheap, but because it serves a much needed purpose, the Market (us buyers) take it in the back side and pay the price. These work, but every time I look at them I feel like I cannot sit down for the pain.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have if you own a power strip, February 1, 2006

If you use a power strip, you probably have something plugged into it that is so big that it covers more than one outlet. Buy a few of these and you can free up that space and use all of the outlets on your power strip. A no brainer, really.

The maker of this product also makes a splitter version. Plug it into your power strip and it gives you TWO MORE OUTLETS!

I would not hesitate to buy more of these when I need them. They are great to use for power strips to fit more "oversized" plugs. They also work well if you want to plug 2 "oversized" plugs into a wall socket.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great way to open up those used recepticals from those bulky A/C adapters & organize a wiring mess in the process, February 8, 2008

This is a great way to open up those used recepticals from those bulky A/C adapters & organize a wiring mess in the process. And the best part of all is, you don't even have to be a liberal to use these liberators. L.O.L.

Every household who has computers, TVs, game consoles, and othe electronic equipment should have this item. I'm a bit of an electronic geek and this is a must-have if you use power of any kind - especially the ones with big and bulky transformers as power supplies.

Haven't actually tried any of them as yet, but I have visually inspected them. They appear to be well constructed and heaver duty version of some I already have in use. Very pleased with the transaction.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Simple Invention That Is Quite Useful, August 29, 2008

Simple but quite useful product.

I have a UPS and a few powerstrips in the house. They are great by providing more outlets. But with all the power adapters that runs most of the gadgets today, even one of those power adapters can cover 2 to 3 outlets which defeats the purpose of having a powerstrip. The liberator solves that problem.

Also, some power adapters can be huge and heavy that its weight alone tends to loosen it from the wall, the liberator serves as a little extension to prevent it from loosening up. Loose connections are dangerous, it can produce sparks that not only can ruin your equipments but can even starts a fire. Countertop receptacles can also be problematic where they are awkwardly situated sideways.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap junk from China, November 20, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ZIOTEK Power Strip Liberator, 14in (Misc.)
These things are pure junk from China. Out of a 10-pack, the sockets of 2 of them were so poorly made that nothing could be plugged into them. The quality is so low that I wouldn't buy them again for 50 cents apiece.
