They didn't stay dead.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wait, what? September 24, 2011

This doesn't quite have the same frantic pacing as the first part, but it does have it's moment.

It tells the story of the other survivors, and how they came to end up at the same place. One of those moments is in that tale, and I was on the edge of my seat, telling myself "No, no, no, no, please no."

The ending was also pretty intense. At least until the plot twist that made me go "Wait, what?". As a standalone it's a bit slower, and the twist would be a bit weird, so I probably would've given it a star less. But it's a bad idea to start reading a serialized novel in the middle, or stop at the middle. So with the third part in mind (review upcoming) it shouldn't be a secret that it works.

I might not have been able to hide how the twist turned out, but it'll have it's own time and place.

4.0 out of 5 stars slower but still good August 3, 2012

2nd part in a really good series...
fast paced and easy to read (read the whole lot in one seating was so wrapped up!)
expansions of the gangs back stories with blinding twist at the end!
which like any good cliff hanger makes you want to read the next book....
well worth the (very cheap) price.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally didn't expect that November 27, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I don't know what Bison or Kenneth's problem is but I completely enjoyed ZNA Journey and can not wait for the 3rd installment. I was blown away by the surprise twist of events at the end of this story and this twist is way more up my alley of interests in the types of books I read. I think this story is appealing and now has a bit of something for everyone no matter what genre one usually reads. Great job!

2.0 out of 5 stars Wow- CONTAINS SPOILER October 4, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
After reading the first book in this series I was extremely excited to read Journey. The book starts out great, explaining the survivors stories and how they all ended up together; however, the end is horrible. After finishing Journey I am not even going to bother with the third book. I mean seriously, super powers? Turning invisible, super strength, and being able to control fire? Quickest way to lose a reader Ive ever seen. All in all what Im saying is dont waste your money. I personally wish I would have given my dollar to the homeless guy who sits on my interstate off ramp, regardless if he would have used it for karate lessons like his sign said.
