I have owned this book for several years. It is an exceptional reference book for new and experienced gardeners alike. This is the #1 book I give to gardening friends. Having a comprehensive book specific to your growing zone is invaluable. The easy-to-read charts include detailed information needed to plan, plant and care for your garden. I can't say enough about this read. If you don't live in zones 3-5, other volumes are available for zones 5-7 and 8-10.
