These flippers work great, except for the fact that they are sized very small, so when you order, do order one size larger than you normally wear.

They will give you blisters-oh the pain!,

I bought these red fins from the sports shop last month and took them back....the size was perfect, but they are very stiff and gave me the most PAINFUL blisters ever. Plus, certain parts of the rubber just jab right into the bone of my feet, making the swimming experience extremely painful.I even bought fin socks...didn't help...
I used to swim competitively, and bought these because it was the model recommended for speed and racing purposes, but I used them more for straight lap swimming and fast kicking....maybe the blue ones are more comfortable, but I know that for me, these red ones just killed my feet.I guess the're just meant to be worn for 5 minutes (or 1 lap) in the water, or something...

Zoomers are great fins, but you need to use the blue ones if you've never used fins before. The short blade length supposedly "targets" your thighs better than long-bladed fins. As to the problems with sizing/blisters, if you're on the border sizewise go up a size and use a pair of men's dress socks (those thin black socks) on your feet before you put on the fins. The socks protect your feet from blisters!!!
Other than that, they are GREAT fins.

I started a new exercise program for swimming only due to back issues and decked myself out with a bunch of swimming "gear" including these fins. I originally bought the red pair for asthetic reasons....don't be like me. If you haven't used fins before, they are really stiff and can cause some pain and fatigue in your legs/ankles. I tried the blue pair and while they are more flexible than the red, they still caused pain in my ankles. Now, this could be just that I'm not used to fins and this type of activity and may subside after time, so don't base your opinion on only my experience. However, DO follow the other reviewers advice like I did and get a size UP from what you normally wear. They are really tight.

I tore my Achilles tendon and my orthopedic recommended these fins for therapy. Zoomers are great fins, but you need to use the blue ones if you've never used fins before. The short blade length supposedly "targets" your thighs better than long-bladed fins.
