Very Good, Attractive Player.
I bought two of these - one for my wife and one for my mother. The sound is very very good for $70. The white is very attractive. The remote is a big plus for controlling it from across the room or turning it off before retiring for the night. The one thing that I am unsure of is if it has anti-skip protection on the CD player. Not as great as it could be.
I purchased the Sony ZSY3 cd boombox and was not at all impressed. The bass sounds "tinny" and over vibrates and sounds so unreal. Don't waste your money on this one. Overpriced and skimpy on features. You don't even get a cassette player on this one. It has a sleep timer function but no alarm function. No mp3 compatibility. The backlit lcd is so small. I purchased the Sony ZSY3 cd boombox and was not at all impressed. The bass sounds "tinny" and over vibrates and sounds so unreal. Don't waste your money on this one. With each new model they bring out the lcd gets smaller and smaller. You are better off with last year's model CFD E95LIV. Now that one is a nice one for the price. Sony has discontinued that model but some merchants might still have stock on it.

I bought two of these - one for my wife and one for my mother. The sound is very very good for $70. The white is very attractive. The remote is a big plus for controlling it from across the room or turning it off before retiring for the night. The one thing that I am unsure of is if it has anti-skip protection on the CD player. It is not necessarily needed since it is a fairly stationary item, but you make experience skip if you try to move it around a lot while the CD is playing. It will play CD-Rs, but (to my knowledge) it doesn't play MP3, WMV, ACC formats.
