All the negative reviews you read about this product (and its predecessor) are true,

After researching wireless FM transmitters to use with the Zune in my car, I had serious doubts about all the negative feedback that these Monster units received. So I bought this unit from Amazon to try it out for myself.
The negative reviews are true-- static interference even on the clearest channels. The sound quality is awful given what this thing costs. The product feels and looks cheap as well. Not to mention, the clearest channel I could find for the use of this product was 87.9 MHz, but the channel memory on this unit doesn't go any lower than 88.1 MHz! Ridiculous. Believe the reviews. Don't waste your time or your money on this unit. After testing it out for about an hour, I had mine packaged and ready to return to Amazon for a refund. (Brand new CD decks with front auxiliary input are available for as much as this unit. Might as well just upgrade your deck)

Terrible Monster Product!,
This review is from: MONSTER ZU FM-CH PS Carplay Wireless Plus Charger Designed for Zune (Electronics)
I was VERY disappointed in this product. I purchased this product because of the "MONSTER" name. That was evidently a bad choice. The sound quality was worse than a record player. That is when I could actually get a station where I could hear what was playing on the Zune. I wouldn't pay $10 for this product much less the $75 after shipping. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT, you'll just end up sending it back and lose $5 or more in shipping costs!!!

Great FM transmitter,

despite all of the bad reviews on this product I got it anyway because my brother had one for his ipod and it works like a charm I love it. I had gotten the Zune Fm transmitter from zune and it didn't work at all I even tried two different models. so if you are looking for a great fm transmitter for your zune try this one.

If I had read the reviews I would never had bought this. The clarity is awful and I can't get the channel to change to a lower number. It was highly recommended and I went with that. Bad mistake. It looks and feels cheaply made too. I wasted my money on this one.

I have great results with this transmitter for my Zune,

I just bought this FM transmitter and I am very pleased with it. I do also own the actual Zune brand FM transmitter, but was not all that happy with the audio quality, so I gave this one a try, and I have had very positive results. There is a distinct difference in the two transmitters, as this one (The Monster) has higher highs, and lower lows to the audio spectrum. The audio seems to have overall more 'punch' to it. I have a factory installed CD player in my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and it seems to compliment well with it. I also live in a rural area, which allows for more silent stations to utilize. As with all FM transmitters, you do still have the annoyance of static on occasion, but the quality of this system exceeds the audio output of the Zune model I bought previously.
Both are good options for those of us without audio inputs in our car stereos, but this one works best for me.

Too Much Static,
By
This review is from: MONSTER ZU FM-CH PS Carplay Wireless Plus Charger Designed for Zune (Electronics)
I purchased this product for my 16 GB Zune with high expectations since many of the Monster FM transmitters received favourable reviews. However, I was a a bit disappointed. There is constantly fluctuating static in the background. I assume this is due to the fact that the device carries an electrical current to charge the Zune while transmitting simultaneously. It seems that the underlying electrical current interferes with the FM transmission. This is very noticeable with music and especially with podcasts. Now, I use an Aerielle i2i® Universal FM Transmitter which provides perfect, static-free reception of my Zune

DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT,

I don't have an audio jack in my new car for connecting my Zune. I looked for products so I could listen to my Zune in the car. I specifically bought this product because of the Monster brand. They have a great reputation. I have spent small fortunes on their cables and other home audio items.
This product is horrible. There is so much static while listening to the Zune, it is actually painful. When searching through the least static radio stations in my area, the best one isn't even available on the transmitter. It is in the 88.* range and this product starts at 89.* I should have done more research before buying. Don't purchase it.

I've had my dealings with FM transmitters before, from DLO to Monster FM transmitters, you name it I've had it. All I have to say is that they're really a waste of money. The only good thing about them is that they charge your ipod or zune, otherwise then that their sound quality sucks, never a good reception. My suggestion is this, buy an AUX cable for $3 on Amazon and save your money.

It works every once in awhile, not as good as monsters for ipod. And after 3 hours of use in a row it seems to stop working at all, then it takes a few hours if it will work again. And its hard to adjust what channel to change to. Not so good for road trips. which is the main reason i bought it for.

Junk, Junk, Junk,
This review is from: MONSTER ZU FM-CH PS Carplay Wireless Plus Charger Designed for Zune (Electronics)
This product is a total piece of junk. It is so full of static on every channel is is unreal. I bought a cheap $10 transmitter and the clarity of the cheaper transmitter was seriously 1000 times better. Plus programming is ridiculous. Please do not waste your money!
