By my standards, these are not very big, but I didn't buy them for bulk. One of these will hold about 32oz of dry something-or-other, works for me. I do keep flour & sugar in larger containers simply because I go through a lot more of those ingredients. What I really like these for are storing rice, nuts, brown/pwd sugar, etc... & having it all very organized as well as looking cute on my bakers rack - I'm all about presentation! Ahh, what I wouldn't do with an industial kitchen...sigh!

Attractive, lightweight containers to store almost any kind of food or ingredients. Clear tops make it easy to see what it is and/or put the label underneath. My husband is using three of them to organize his small tools in the garage. Will buy again. Great set and well priced.

I was specifically looking for 5-6 large canisters, and these were, by far, the cheapest and largest I could find. The only thing I found wrong with them is that one of the lids was very, very slightly too large for the canister. But it was easily fixed by pulling out a few edges of the canister to tighten it up.
