If you saw only a few of these videos in their heyday on MTV you already know how talented & cool ZZ top is as a band.
ZZ Top proves that a great video dosen't make the song, but a great song can be enhanced by the visual aspects of the video.

Watching these videos on a HD TV with surround sound really takes these vidoes to a whole new level.
Every ZZ Top fan should own this DVD

All are great videos!!!! I've seen the hot-rod car used in some of the above videos. I saw it at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!!!! Thanks!!!!

This is one fine collection of slick and savy vids. Great sound and picture quality but where the hell is the DVD version. This collection has been available on DVD in Europe and elsewhere for years but the US and Canadian versions have yet to see the light of day. C'mon guys give us the goods. Perhaps an expanded US version is in the works including bonus vids like "She's Just Killing Me", "Doubleback", "Pincushion" and "Breakaway". One can only hope. This collection is recommended!!

Amazing videos, great group, but the technical quality of sound and video is poor.

Most music videos spend much of the time showing the performers doing their thing on stage which tends to be boring. This video is not only full of great Top Tunes but has a well done story line involved with each one. My family and I have watched this video many times and will continue to watch it. If you like ZZ Top and action in your videos, this is a must have!

12 classic videos and lots of hot women!! Cars and women, the subject of so many rock classics. You get lesser played videos like "Burger Man" and "TV Dinners." I do wish they would have put "Double back again" on this tape. Other than that this a great ride through ZZ Top's MTV days. The Eliminator, Afterburner and "Recycler" albums are the draw for this collection. Don't look for any early 70s or late 70s gems on this tape. Maybe in the future!!

The videos contained on this DVD bring me back to when I was a teenager. These uniquely crafted videos, containing the car, keychain, and of course the beautiful women, along with the terrific music make this DVD collection an absolute must have for all ZZ Top fans.

ZZ Top's 'Greatest Hits' is a fantastic album. This long awaited DVD has finally arrived. This is not a NEW release, originally published on VHS in 1992; I've been waiting 15 years for the DVD edition (my VHS tape is worn thin). This is a collection of the Music Videos originally shot for each of the songs on the Greatest Hits album. The sound quality and picture are what one would expect from DVD - excellent. Watching and listening to this on a big screen with surround sound - goose bumps.
For ZZ Top fans this bit of 'nostalgia' is a must have. For those unfamiliar with ZZ Top, it's a great introduction to both the group and their video vision...

No there are not a lot of extras since this, as stated, is the original VHS released on DVD.

That fact takes nothing from the quality of the music or the videos. As a previous reviewer mentioned, this is not 'The Chemical Brothers' - then again, the 'ZZ Top Greatest Hits' album/video was released when 'The Chemical Brothers' were charting their first single - so there is a big (decades worth of) difference.
Both stand on their own separate merits - but it is like comparing apples to oranges.

This tape contains most of the best ZZ Top videos. But their best video, from my point of view the video with the vampire lady (don't know the name, please send me an e-mail), is missing.

THIS VIDEO ROCKS. ITS FULL OF ZZ-TOP MUSIC, GIRLS, AND CARS. IF U HAVENT SEEN IT U BET CAUSE IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY!!!!!!! :)
