1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Read This Book, February 9, 2012
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Zack Files 10: Bozo the Clone (Paperback)
Why would you want to read a book that is horrible and you just want to vomit and
put it in the garbage. Well the Zack Files Bozo The Clone, by Dan Greenburs is one of the worst books I ever read. In the book the Zack Files Bozo The Clone, it is just about a kid who gets a clone and does everything for him. The clone does homework for him, he takes care of bullies so Zack doesn't have to. Also, I don't
think Zack is taking this serously because maybe something major will happen with
the clone. This is why Zack Files is not a amazing book to read.
One of the things that Zack does in the book Zack Files Bozo The Clone, is that he picks stupid events for the clone. I also think that the team for the book doesn't go with the main character Zack because Zack doesn't think befor he does
anything. The worst part was when the clone came out of the box the author did not add deatils like for example how did Zack feel when the clone came. I feel thatthis book is just a big waste of time and do not even go near the book JUST TRUST ME!!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too many outdated cultural references for intended age group, March 10, 2009
This review is from: Zack Files 10: Bozo the Clone (Paperback)
My daughter is reading this at school. She was having trouble with it and I looked it over - it has tons of outdated cultural references in the first few chapters. Any one of these would be fine, but they are just piled in there, line after line: The Three Stooges, Elvis on black velvet, tighty-whities, pantsing, The Abominable Snowman ... etc.
The story line looks interesting but I wonder if she will ever get into it, since she is stumbling over too many things that have to be explained right at the beginning of the book.
