The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because they don't make them to fit Boston Terriers. My female is 18 lbs and my mail is 35 lbs. Bought a medium and a large. I had to cut the bottoms off, shorten the shirt and re attach the bottom for them to fit. Boston's have big chests but aren't long. Other than that my dogs love them. They won't go outside in the cold till I put the sweatshirts on them. They wash up nice too! Made well, good quality.

Looks good when I put it on my dog. He hates it, but gets used to it. Has a nice hole behind the hoodie for leashes. Only thing is that his wiener hangs INSIDE the sweater. For a female dog I guess this wouldnt be a problem, but he likes to mark his territory a lot and so the bottom of his sweater gets pee'd on. SO as much as I'd like to use this as an all day sweater for him, I can't, so I can only give it to him when he is inside the house and has done his business already, which kind of defeats the purpose of a sweater if it is meant to keep you warm outside. Either way, I kept it, temporary fix would be to roll up his sweater, but it always ends up falling down. Maybe I'll have to modify it...

So bottom line: looks cool, well made. But not cool for boy dogs since you get pee on the sweater.

This sweatshirt, in a ZACK AND ZOEY size small (Small 8"-12" Neck and 8" - 12" Lenght and 14" - 16") BARELY fits my dog. And the coat I bought from Zack and Zoey, size small, is AT LEAST ONE INCH TOO SMALL, probably closer to two inches too small. So, if you are buying China made Zack and Zoey, buy one size up.


And if you have a really small dog, under 14 inches in the chest, I have a great coat you can buy, just email me, hahah.

I bought this item because it was listed as 100% cotton and was a great price. I have a small Italian Greyhound (8yrs old/ 9.4lbs) who has very little fur and likes to have a sweater on when it's chilly. I usually would buy her the "woof, a small dog company" hoodies because they are 100% cotton and fit her amazingly, they are expensive ($59!) though and she goes through them pretty quickly. they also stopped making them without any annoying lame messages/graphics on the hoodie which i can't stand, i like them to be plain. so i have been searching the internet for a plain, 100% cotton, reasonably costing hoodies. thought i found it, but just received them, i ordered medium and small to find the right fit. the small is just a bit too small and the medium is too big, but if it really was a 100% cotton it would shrink at least a bit so i washed and dried it, no shrinkage. took it to my tailor/dry cleaner, they said this is not 100% cotton at best it is a blend of 50/50 polyester blend but more than likely it is closer to an 80% polyester blend. it is made in china so who knows, the label could say anything. i had read that the real zack and zoey hoodies are not made in china, but there is no way to find out unless you ask the online store where the hoodie is made. i unfortunately did not ask and maybe these are counterfeit zack and zoey. i am writing this before i have contacted amazon, but just thought i would give the lowdown on this product before anyone actually decides on purchasing this product as i wish i had this information before purchasing.

This item is not suitable for a male dog. It is cut too long underneath and a male dog will not be able to go to the bathroom while wearing this coat.

Their size chart for dogs is not a common sense thing. I have what the world considers a "medium" size dog at 20-25 lbs, so I ordered the medium without looking at their chart. My dog actually needs a large or XL. Large would fit her tightly, the XL would fit her like I like to wear my hoodie, a little loose and comfy. So, I returned my medium and I will order the XL, and review it better when it arrives.

This coat is easy to put on and take off, it is soft and does not restrict the dogs movement.

One needs to buy the coat one size larger because washing and drying will shrink it to the correct size.

I know that the manufacturer says not to use a dryer but where we live we have to walk in the rain sometimes and the coat needs to get dry before the next walk.

The hoodie is made of a good heavy fabric, but I should have listened to the earlier blogger. Don't buy this for a male dog! I have to keep it now because when my little guy raised his leg he peed all over the inside of the hoodie.

BEWARE: Item runs VERY SMALL!!!

This was supposed to be a medium, we have a wire haired fox terrier, but this fits our neighbor's french bulldog, a very small dog. This is, at best, a Small. Shipping to return it would have been expensive so we just had to eat the purchase. Thank goodness for reviews, 'eh? I should have read them first.

I love this item. Zach and Zooey products are double anywhere else you go. My dog falls asleep wearing the sweater because it is so soft.
