5.0 out of 5 stars Holy Kittens this thing rocks January 23, 2012

I've always tended to be somewhat of a data-hoarder. Excel and other spreadsheet applications have always seen daily use. It's been a pain (firstworldproblem-style), though, to have a dozen or more simple data-tracking spreadsheets and charts that are in no way related. Do i put them in a dozen files ? A dozen sheets in a workbook ? Agh. I could go on, but i won't. This isn't about excel's shortcomings.

This app will let me take all of those "little" spreadsheets i have floating around on my PC and plop them all into one nice, well designed UI. I love it. Timestamps are killer, as is the grouping feature.

It's feature set combined with it's simplicity and clean UI will make this painless to use and idiot-proof. Definitely will be a very heavily used app.

Holy crap i almost forgot about the alarms: you can set up one, or multiple alarms up, choosing from daily, weekly, or monthly intervals for each. Could it *be* any easier to track data consistently ? (Seizure & Med tracking in my case) So. Frickin. Wonderful. I'm starting to think that it was, in fact, *me* who designed this app - in an alternate reality of some kind. Good Gravy and Kitten Lickins this thing is incredible.

5.0 out of 5 stars There are decimal values January 23, 2012

I just downloaded this app, best FAOTD in a while! I wanted to quickly mention there are decimal values - when you create a new tracking list, it is the 'increment' section. the default is '1'. If you want decimal values set it to '0.1' (giving values like 3.2 or 4.5) or '0.01' (giving values like 3.21 or 4.56).

Fun and useful app, it's very satisfying to be able to keep track of anything you want. The graphs are a nice touch and statistics detailed, keeps track of median amount, average, even standard deviation, and others.

4.0 out of 5 stars Needs more views. January 23, 2012

First of all, superman is hurting the review process. No matter if he likes or hates he gives a app one star. This is so people will read his reviews. Other people are copying this idea for attention. These are reviews, not a blog. If you want to be funny, give a proper review in a humorous way. And one star means you hate it, not please read my review and give me attention. It is not fair to the people that made the app and it is not fair to the people that use review ratings to try to find good apps.

This also means if you don't like the app, don't download it. Don't use a review to complain to Amazon that you don't like their free app of the day. Amazon doesn't read these reviews. Use the proper form and do it the right way.

And if you don't like a review, don't use another review to complain about it. Which I am obviously doing here...but I will get to that. If a review gives one star, don't give your review five stars to fix it because you think it should be three stars. I have seen srveral people do this in response to one review. This just messes things up. Just rate it normally and let peolple ignore the anomaly. Don't create more anomalies.

If you don't like a review, log on to Amazon web site, search for the app, then find the review and add a comment. This is the only hope of affecting the original reviewer. I have done it, it isn't hard and the results can fix things going forward. Don't like my review, that is the only hope I will actually read it.

OK, finally my review of this product. It works well, but I have only used it for less then an hour. It needs more views. For example the calender view only shows one month and the values don't stand out enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm terrible at remembering to take medication... January 23, 2012

I am supposed to take my injections daily, however its easy to forget something that is pretty painful, I've used my alarm on my phone... It was too easy to dismiss. I downloaded this app this morning setting my notification for tonight. I had to answer yes or no to if I had taken my shot or not... And I really hate to acknowledge that it is normally a no... So I took my shot. May seem trivial to some, but I'm hoping its a good restart of my progress... Two thumbs up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very handy app! January 23, 2012

If you like keeping track of things from over a period of time, like body weight, miles ran, shooting score at the range, etc, this app is for you! It is so simple to set up an item to track and then to periodically update it. I really can't imagine an easier way to do this. It shows several ways to view the data and track progress. I like it a lot and can see myself using it often. Great work dev!

1.0 out of 5 stars Last update breaks great app February 23, 2012
Verified Purchase
So I have been using this app to track medical symptoms and had really been liking it. Then came the last update.... now what I enter in the fields has no relation to what the app actually stores. Going back and reviewing entries since the update, I find that the values stored are not the ones I entered about 1/3 of the time. In trying to pretty up the app, the devs broke its most basic features. do not download till fixed. using gingerbread on droid 2.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decimal points ARE available January 23, 2012
Verified Purchase
So far this app works well. I will follow up with more detail after I've used it more but I did want to respond to the decimal point issue. When setting up a new tracker item it gives you the option to customize the increment of measure. I set my numeric increment to 0.1 and it works well.
